My friday went from bad when I found out BNL are doing a UK tour next year and I am thinking "What about US?" ....to worse when i got a bit of wood in my left eye and I had turned it from blue to red....good news is I can see out of it now just need to deal with the swelling and bruising from the constant rubbing of trying to get the splinter out....

THERE DOING A UK TOUR! DH..............*GLOMP* Well thats brightened up my day............Friday hmm had an exam this morning it went ok but we'll see........DH it must be friday thing to do with eyes because I found out today that I'm slightly colourblind.......it takes me longer to pick out a dark red/brown on a green background of a similar contrast than most people...........this came about due to my slow reaction times on the cricket pitch as we play with a dark red ball which I loose in the background of the pitch.........and some professional testing has confirmed this. It shouldn't be too much of a problem but we'll see as I already have proplems with sight, I was born with cataracts and have had an operation to replace my natural lenses for artifical ones.......only problem is that I can't focus my eye hence the glasses.

my daughter is totally red/ green colourblind, along with one of my sisters and 3 female cousins, plus I am a carrier... that is medically intersting as colurblindness shouldn't affect girls like it does in our family...

that is DH about 10% of the male population are red/green colourblind and only 0.4% of women............to be colour blind to yellow is even rarer..............btw where did you find out about the UK tour?

Got the first of two mothers day pressies - my son got me a knife set in a block. He was replacing it after damaging the previous set that I bought..I don't know what I'll be getting from my daughter as yet....we'll see what she comes home with I suppose...

Back atcha, mob!
I'm sleepy, it's raining, dark and dreary, and actually quite cold for mid-May. We had a wind chill this morning of 37°F. But at least it's the end of the work week!!!
So what is on the agenda for this weekend??

my friday was quite laid back...

My spiritual sister is taking my kids "Moms day shopping" - I dread to think what they will get...hopefully something nice and cannot be eaten or die...

Wow it's friday again, this week has just flown past and it's scary! it's been a good week but very very busy, last sat was the MayBall an excellent night, Sunday I spent 10 hours on a mini bus as we had an away cricket game in Bristol which we won. Monday I slept all day, Tuesday I can't remember atall other than it rained, Wednesday another cricket match this time in Gloucester (3-4 hours away) and we won that too. Then yesturday worked all day, cricket match in the evening then my alnighter doing my assingment. Woke up at 4am with my head on my laptop but meh got it sorted and well yeh it's friday now crazy stuff. I've got a day of rest 2mor except for cricket training in the evening then sunday is our final inter university cricket match against plymouth but it's a home game. We either have to beat them out right or score 86 runs to win the league it's all very tense!
