The BNL performance in Richmond was.... well, the band was very good, and that was exciting, but you were really far away so you couldn't really see. And there were major speaker malfunctions so it sounded like Steve/Ed were at least 2 beats behind the guitars and it sounded like Ty was in his own world. If you didn't know the songs beforehand, def. not a good first BnL experience.... They got a lot of boos by the NASCAR fans in the end (at least by the ones around me) which made me sad...
It was still great to hear new songs and here some improvisations and stuff, though in a much shorter time frame. I think part of the negativity was the crowd's lack of anticipaction/enthusiasm, because it made the band's seem pretty flat. The booing was just horrid, though...
Howeverrrr, the Patriot Centre concert will be more awesome. Is anyone else going as of now?
