Costco is a dangerous place for us. So is Sam's Club, but we might venture there on Friday, they open at 5!

I am almost completely done with my shopping. I bought my son's present yesterday and I think I am pretty good. I may pick up a thing here or there but between things I have purchased on purpose and my gift closet, I think I have it all covered.
Costco is my bane. Soooooo dangerous for me.
Happy Anniversary to Kent and I. I am actually married to my soul-mate, I never knew they actually existed before!
(actually I am still not sure about the soulmate stuff, but I am married to a man that I adore.)

Congrats surprising. How many years of wedded bliss? Our anniversary is Friday..........at least that is when we celebrate it. We got married the day after Thanksgiving and always celebrate it then! Which means up at the crack of dawn and off to join the crazies for early shopping!
My shopping is not done, but a good way complete. I still need to do something for my dad and my sisters in law.........aarrgghhh that is not easy. I need to pick up gift certificates at the new golf course for my brothers, they are easy. We also have done very little so far in the stocking stuffer area. That has to get going quick though.

Happy anniversary to surprising! ...and you guys be careful out there with those insane holiday shoppers. I worked retail (selling children's books) for long enough that nothing on earth could induce me to enter a store this Friday! <has flashback and shudders> I am very disorganized about my Christmas shopping this year, but I am very unstressed about it because life is good at the moment.

It is six years ago today. We were married the day before Thanksgiving and it just happens to fall that way this time. We had to schedule our marriage where it wouldn't be a pain with school and we could do something fun. Six years ago we were watching Natalie Merchant in concert. We thought about doing it around Christmas but we both have a December anniversary with an ex and didn't want to have it too close to Christmas. We thought about waiting until after the New Year but why not have the holidays together and save the tax dollars. How funny that you have yours around this time too. I think it's a great anniversary time. If you ever need anything to do with your social security card the day after Thanksgiving is the day to go there. They have NO people in line waiting for their SSI or whatever. It's also a good day at the DMV. Just an FYI. I love the Christmas crowds, when I am in the mood, but I am glad I will be at home this year.
