What a wild wooly friday it was today struggled to go to the forcast of 55F...
this weekend was going to be quiet but got asked to attend a course and have to get to the place by 6am - aaaahhhhhhhhhhh!

Yeay for friday! What's everyone doing this weekend? I'm going shopping with some friends to the Dixie Outlet mall. I need new clothes for my new job. And as fun as shopping sounds, it doesn't thrill me. I'm not a shopper. I like to get in and get out. However, on the plus side of tomorrow, we're finding some nice pub to stop in at on the way there. Now thats what I call a good shopping trip!

just for the record Im not much of a clothes shopper and in particularly finding shoes that fit my feet and its hard to get a size 12D in ladies dress shoes - thanx to E-bay and pot luck I did find two pairs of shoes that fit and suit the two weddings I'll be going to...

I always have few expections....that way I can only be pleasantly thrilled!!! LOL
Mas sounds like a fun trip. I am not a big shopper, but I like to roam, especially if there is nothing I NEED to get.
We are going to see Annie tommorrow..that should be fun.

BNLater - I was watching the various news channels here with the fires near you...how close are you to the fires?
good vibes to the many firefighters fighting the fies in So. Cal. and hope that they can get it under control - and soon

Dragon it is impossible for me to know which of the many fires they are reporting..but I assume they are dealing with the ones in Calabasas and up in that area. Those are quite a distance from me as they are in northern Los Angeles county and even perhaps Ventura county. So far we have not even had smoke smell from those. There were a couple closer, but still not close enough to cause more for us than a thick smoke smell. (nonick has had a much closer impact from the downtown Toledo fire yesterday and perhaps into today)
I second your thoughts on sending good thoughts to the firefighters up there battling to save houses.

I saw pictures of the main fire in North LA...and they did mention of the smaller fires as well, just think that'll be here in a couple of months time and I'll be in the thick of things like I was earlier in the year, being a search and rescue member, which also deals with helping out the firies with the fires etc
