Sounds good to me... Usually for my dad's birthday my mom and I buy something together for him. Or just go out to eat.

Wow, that was very nice of you nonick. Did you guys have fun? Was it a good meal? Good service? Did the whole family go?
We took my sister inlaw out for her birthday last Friday and had a horrible time. The first time I ever didn't leave a tip

I think that's a perfectly acceptable birthday recognition. Much more generous than I am! (Which reminds me... my dad's bday is in 3 days...)

It was a small sort of hole-in-the-wall place called the Rib Cage. The food was fantastic. I had probably the best steak I've EVER had, well you know, after sending the first one back because it was gray from being so over-cooked.

A place you have been to before nonick? Or a new discovery?

My parents had been there before, but I hadn't. Not sure how they stumbled on it one weekend with some friends of theirs, but I'm glad they did!

That was my sentiment too, Flip... I prefer mine somewhere between red and pink and not bleeding. The second try was done beautifully.

Well, happy happy hump day to yo folks not working Saturday. Which I am. That's ok. I'm on holidays next week, that's what is getting me through.
So I hurt a little. Took in a class at the gym last night called Body Flow. It was a combination of yoga/pilates/tai chi. It seemed basic enough, lots of stratching and breathing, but I hurt. It's a good pain. I can't wait to get going with my personal trainer.
Ok, so that's my saga of the week. How is everyone else? Weekend plans? Anyone?

Happy Feet came out yesterday (YAY!) and since I've reaised my geometry grade from and "F" to a "B" since last 9 weeks, my mom said she'll buy it for me! Woooo-hoo!
That's how lame of a person I am...
