I thought you guys might enjoy those pictures. They are having a ball. So cute.
And thank you for the comments on how adorable they are. I think they are two of the cutest kids ever but I am a bit prejudice. They are being raised to be really good kids too, which is really nice. Rick is sooo protective of Madelyn it is going to be funny to see how he responds to the teenage daughter. He is going to go nuts.

Holy cow!! That is so much snow!!!!!!! Did you get an unofficial measurement of how much you got? We always stick a yardstick in our snow, but we've never had THAT much. At least not in my lifetime! Those grandkids of yours are too cute for words! Is Vincent ever not smiling?!

Because when it comes right down to it, you have got to be raised right! Cute only goes so far but goodness and kindness go along ways when you are old!
Surprising, I love how much you enjoy them. My mom helped us alot (still does) with babysitting and so much more. And I will always be so thankful for that and look forward to doing the same someday...............in the very distand future.

I agree that good matters more than cute.... but I am grateful to have both! *smile* If Vincent is hungry (and he is wearing size 12 month already ) he isn't smiling but most of the time you can get him smiling. He is a happy, happy baby. He is super spoiled (as evidenced by the fact that he has to be held to sleep) but Miranda says he is the last one and she wants to enjoy every minute. Madelyn was a super smiley girl too though. Rick and Miranda are great, great parents. It is so awesome to watch a true "team" raising kids. The official measurment was 18 inches in Ogden with up to 21 on the benches. We are benchy/in a mountain valley. I will ask Rick how much they got. What is funny is that Salt Lake got 2 inches and north of us got 4 inches. There was some little power cell that parked itself over Ogden all day and that's where the snow came from. I was so excited. There is "lake effect" snow from the Great Salt Lake but we are too far north to get that so we normally get ripped off snow-wise. Ogden was the lead story on the news last night... right behind election stuff.

Madelyn turned six on Tuesday. She is getting so big! And, here is a cute boy... I just bought him some new outfits yesterday because his clothes are all too small. I had to buy size 18 months! Oy Vey!!!

They are ridiculously cute. So much cuteness in one place should be illegal. I am sure the Moral Majority has some sort of rule against it.

Yes, I've heard too much beauty in one family is against the law! It could run for generations and generations!
Great pics, Surprising! What a proud Grandma!

surprising you are right she is so grown up. But from what I know she is very much the little girl in the right respects! Dang your grandson is a lady killer. Size wise he is right on track with my son at that age!

Thanks guys. I know I post a lot of pictures but with Christmas, snow and birthdays what else can I do? I will slow down.
I am a VERY proud Nana. They are amazing kids. I enjoy being a Nana so much differently than being a mom. I really think that grandkids are the reward for having children.

I think the kids are the punishment and the grandkids are the reward! LOL
I have to admit, I am glad I don't have plumbing so I didn't decide to have a baby with Kent. He is such an amazing man and I would have love to have his babies.... and then I would wake up and give thanks it's not possible!

LOL... I meant punishment for your kids. Sorry, I didn't make that clear the first time around!
