Yeah... my Golden Flashes didn't make the big dance this year. Got knocked out of the MAC finals by Akron... those dirty bastards... All the worse since they are Kent's arch rival being only about a 20 minute drive down Rt. 8!
Thursday is fine here... Although my car was completely covered with SNOW this morning when I left for work. Ahhhh... March in Ohio: Tuesday afternoon driving the convertible home with the top down to Thursday morning having the top covered with an inch of snow...

Welcome back, Devin! Nonic, our weather has been so beautiful I keep waiting for the snow... but we should be good until Tuesday. LOL They are promising 68 on Saturday though. Crazy. BNLater. Yes, he is an original Wildcat. Very much a hometown boy. He went to Weber (long e sound) as a student and now he is back as faculty. We live in one of those places where when people hear your last name they ask so many questions you would think they were doing your family history! *geneology joke*  |

Our "official" high temperature on Tuesday was 73°F, but my car thermometer said 78°F at one point. Then yesterday I think the official high was 72°F... According to www.weather.com, the current temperature in Toledo, Ohio is a whopping 37°F with a wind chill of 30°F.... Oh the fun... |

That's ok BNLater. I have a week off coming up in 2 weeks. I'm flying to Ontario to visit my Grandparents. I'm hoping the snow there has all melted by then!
Happy Thursday everyone. I don't start until 9 today. I might just get that raking done Sunday if the weather holds out.

Ohhhh thank theavens thor Thursday! Stormy here, but at least warmer. Supposedly once this little line of storms moves through it is going to clear up and be sunny. Maybe a topless drive home...? *crosses fingers*
BIG plans for me this weekend.... TAXES! Joy of joys. Also have to meet a couple dogs that I'll probably be baby-sitting over Easter. Other than that, nothing much going on here!

Oh, you have my sympathies nonick. I hate tax time (in case I haven't previously made that clear!). I have until the end of April to file mine. I'm still waiting on my tithe receipt from church. I should get back a small amount. Good luck with that! Oh and dog sitting! How fun! I'll be getting spoiled rotten by my Grandparents over easter!  |

I never thought about that! They are actually in Kingston, Ontario. Close to a US border crossing, but not that close to where you live. It would have been good fun though. Damn, time to go to work. Have a good day all! |

No big plans this weekend... For the Ohioans, I am traveling up to Mansfield with my friend. Her mom's boyfriend lives there and sometimes I go with her to just kind of hang out.
I am sitting in art class right now waiting for the glue to dry on my damn toothpick sculpture project. And that's about it... I just realized that the school unblocked YouTube, but we don't have flash on this computer! Bah humbug.

It is Thursday folks! Closer to the weekend! I don't start until 9, still up at the crack of dawn however. Got some new ultimate dark roast Kicking Horse coffee beans and it is yummy.
