lol... Well, that's a good way to look at it too, yay... I'll go with your reasoning!! ((As opposed to me just being lazy...)) *gives yay two thumbs up* So what's your secret? Or are you just doing it the old fashioned way?

Yep, pretty much the old-fashioned way. No diet pills or special proups or anything. A bunch of people from the S&D boards started a yahoogroup to support each other as we work on it, and that's really helped. But my basic plan since March has been: 1200-1300 calories a day when I don't exercise 1400-1500 when I do exercise 1800-2000 once a week to keep metabolism chugging along And then I also make sure I'm eating every three hours or so. And drink enough water (I'm kind of addicted to water, so this isn't much of a problem). That's it! LOL As if it's that simple. It's really hard, and I definitely have my moments of weakness, but with having so long to "prepare" for the cruise, I think I finally felt like I didn't need results immediately, I just needed to keep working at it and hopefully get some results by January.

Well it is apparently working very well for you if you've lost 36 pounds! Are all your clothes too big now?

Yes, but luckily I have clothes all the way up and down the scale, thanks to my packrat charm. I mostly wear jeans to work (thank goodness I'm on the night shift), and the ones I have aren't really the kind that go out of style. Now for dress clothes, I'm totally lacking - I've got those at the top of the scale and down where I used to be, but not so much in between.
