Yeay Marketed! The only things I know in my very poor, very broken spanish is "dondez esta bano?" and "una cerveza por favor". I learned that when i went to cuba. i figured those two phrases were tthe most important. My kids watch Dora the explorer and they've learn all kinds of spanish from that.

Dora rocks!!! One of my neices loves anything and everything Dora. It is awesome to find a children's product/character/show that is informative, a good example on many levels and fun to watch too. We bought her the Dora house for Christmas...what a hit that was.
Marketed will we be getting updates while you are in Chi town? Or will you be without a computer?

Dora is a big hit here too, and I tend to watch it more than my 10 year old...must be the Spanish decendants that I have somewhere in the family....

Oh I watch Dora the Explorer sometimes..and I don't have kids. -shrugs- I learn stuff. And it's fun to sing along to.
I think I'm bringing a laptop with me...I'll find a way to get on the computer and still be around here. No worries!!!

No matter where you go, you can have a great education and a fun time... it's what you make out of it!! I went to an undergrad that I had not visited. and I was nervous, afraid, but it worked out for the best!!

The only thing I'm scared to do is buy books.
It's cold there a lot in the winter, and how windy it is is NOT a joke...but I've heard you get used to it.
I'll tell you how wonderful the summer is!

Buy used books.... Don't get suckered into buying new books...
It's still expensive, but for the amount you use the book (1-2 semesters at most)

ach, sounds like my chemistry book for this past year. the worst part was, they'd never used the book before, so I couldn't buy it used.
