Well, I thought I'd just cheer for myself and other's who arrived home safely from the cruise. I have some major swaying going on here in my basement. Anyhow, Laura and I had an interesting trip back. Our flight out of Miami was delayed almost 2 hours which meant we would miss our connecting flight to Vancouver. So they bumped us up to a flight leaving earlier which was nice. Too bad you didn't know earlier iled and Wendy, the flight was barely half full. So we got to Toronto ok, but then our plane had to be de-iced and it took nearly 2 hours! We were freaking out, but so utterly exhausted from staying up all night. We got to Vancouver 10 minutes later then our flight to Kelowna was to leave at, but they held the plane for us. Got in only 30 minutes late. The downfall? Well, aside from the bad swaying I have going on, and the pure utter exhaustion, the only pissy part is our bags didn't make it out of Toronto, so we have no luggage. Hopefully it comes in tomorrow. They will deliver it here. That just means bad hair and no make up tomorrow So hey, I miss you all, I hope you all had a good trip back and now we can start talking about and gtting excited over Ships and Dip IV next January! Yay! Cheers!

Jessica and laura While it sounds like the trip back was not without pains, that you arrived almost at the proper time safely. I am glad for that. I am sorry you are missing your bags, but I am sure that they will show up and they will deliver them safe and sound.
Our trip was boring, in the nicest sense of that word. The only glitch was sitting on the tarmac for an hour in Miami, which made our lonnnng connection in Houston too short for a real meal. But I did get a good hour's nap on the flight to Houston, and then spotty sleep on the way into Ontario. I was more than ready for bed when we arrived home. The dogs were sooooo happy to see us.

I am very glad that everyone made it home safe. I hope everyone is well and recovering. I am still swaying, and people are laughing when I do it. But I also have a lot of jealous friends who wish that they were there with us. I am also wondering if Jessica had something to do with my suitcase, because I have seen what she can do to one (haha, just joking Jess) I am still on Eastern time so we'll see what I can do about that. Miss you all already.

Wow... I'm really sorry to hear about all the problems that everyone had getting home. I know Shelby had a messed up trip, too. My plane was about half an hour late getting into Miami and I ended up getting into Detroit about an hour later than scheduled. Otherwise, everything worked out fine for me. I slept pretty much all day yesterday catching up on all the sleep I missed during the week, but I feel MUCH better today. I'm still swaying a bit, more when I'm up and moving around than if I'm sitting/resting. Overall though... feeling pretty melancholy about being home this year. For some reason it sucked a lot more coming home this year than last year... I want to go back!!!!!

I think it is because we had so much more fun this time. I didn't want to leave either. Its hard to leave good friends. But the way I see it now, thanks to the internet, at least we can still keep in touch, 10 years ago, it would have been a different story

I'm not really swaying as much as I thought I would, but I am DOG tired. I stayed busy-going to watch a friend's band on Sat. night (like I didn't have enough live music this week?) and yesterday going to a superbowl party. But the times in between, it takes way too much energy to breath. Seriously. I have today off. I was going to sneak into work early this am and take care of some loose ends so it's not so overwhelming tomorrow...but I was too busy this morning sleeping to even think about that.
Coffee has been the only thing to get me going. Speaking of which, I should get brewing a pot. I have a hair appointment soon!
Miss ya all!

I was feeling pretty wobbly (swaying) on Saturday and have had a few episodes since then, but it hasn't been too bad. I worked Saturday morning and was really out of it, but after a good night sleep on Saturday, things went much better at work on Sunday and I was crazy bored. I slept in today and almost miseed my tutoring session and then had lunch with Jess and looked at pictures, I have a lot of Great Big Sea and Ed in a Speedo and of people here and there. I am still tired though, and I miss everyone, I think it should be longer next time.
