OK explain something to me. Why the need to get it the first day out, and read it non-stop? I just don't get it. Mainly I think it's because nobody will be able to shut up about the book in the media, and it will be very difficult avoiding finding out what happens. Most of us want to read it ourselves without knowing the ending. I think is probably the only occasion I ever feel compelled to read a book this fast. I'm actually just going to skim it and then re-read it later to get all the details. It does kind of ruin it though feeling the pressure to read it so fast. |

I agree with Flipper. (Mark your calendars folks...) Part of me really wants to take my time and enjoy the book because I know it is the last one, but I want to find out for myself what happens in the end. I would be extremely pissed off if after all this time getting so involved in the story and in the characters, someone on TV blurted out the ending. Plus, after having re-read Half-Blood Prince this week, I'm extra anxious for so many of the loose ends to be tied up. I was exaggerating though, I will definitely sleep this weekend, but probably only when my eyes are so tired from reading that I can't keep them open any longer.  |
