nonick, I think its probably the time change. It seems to have an effect oneveryone. The number of heart attacks in this country jumps during the spring time change. Me, I just can't get used to the feeling that there is not enough hours in the day. But you gotta love that sunshine till almost eight o'clock. Saving a lot on the old energy bill.
Jess, you sound like you had a bad day. Curl up on the couch with a nice warm drink and veg out on TV or put on some good music. Treat yourself kindly. Tomorrow has got to be a better day.

Your lucky. It isn't so bad in the fall when you gain an hours sleep. But in the spring it just saps your strength. You're constantly searching for that extra hour and you're playing catch-up till around June.

Yeah I've heard about it. There's a constant debate whether we should join. I don't want to. I think it's ridiculous for us to change lol.

I agree with you, silly... I think some of it is definitely the time change. I've always loathed "Spring Ahead"! I'm still a little out of it today, but not as bad as yesterday. You know, it could always be the fact that the high today is supposed to barely reach 30°F!!! I watched the spring season change kick my mom's ass for the last 25 years and unfortunately I seem to be experiencing it first hand now!

Im late by 48hrs oh well
I'm going out with my sister, brother-in-law and son to see Voyager before they create their 3rd album, then crash out in their hotel room for the night - I'll be too drunk and too tired to go home....then its a mass clean-up and shopping as I have a house inspection on Monday yikes!!!

Leaving for work soon, have to walk for an hour now as my bicycle was stolen on monday.
So irritating.

And I'm with you Jess, I'm really sleepy today, too. I have a feeling a lot of that is just the weather. It is very dark and gloomy and pouring buckets right now. Oh, and windy... can't forget windy as all the blinds are swaying back and forth in the office!

No chance of it being recovered, Bristol is a 'cycle city' which means everyone rides a bike and the place is crawling with thieves. It'll be long gone by now, they even took the lock so no chance of prints. Its just one of those things really the police have so much else to deal with that a stolen bike isn't really at the top of there list. Anyway home now, work was ok got to paint and play with glitter  How's everyone else doing. |
