Is it friday yet? Holy smokes life has been busy. Crazy. Hey, BNLater I'm taing a quick trip to San Diego next week...but unfortunately it's not very long. It for a protocol for a new clinical trial we are doing. I am in and out in less than 48 hours... and most of that will be spent on a plane. I love San Diego, but I'm not looking forward to such a quickie. I was like in November when I did dallas in 16 hours including flights. BLAH!.....

mob too bad you can't arrange a little more time, then we could at least meet for dinner or something. I did Houston for a depo once and was like 16 hours and I have a longer flight than you, at least I think so. It was not fun, especially because I was unable to sleep at all on the red eye on the way out.......it was a very llllllllllllonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg deposition, as I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open. But have fun. You going to meet with a pharmaceutical company? You know my sister in law does that stuff in San Diego right?

You guys need to do dinner!!!!! Period! Exclamation point. It would totally suck to be that close to one another and NOT see each other.

It's for a clinical trial... Novartis. It's to get to know the protocol and learn about the medicine. It kind of more of a pain in the ass than anything. I wouldn't mind a web cast instead. but then you are not a captive audience. They include the monitors and the doctors. So the presentations are painful because they have to explain much of the science behind things to make sure everyone is up to snuff.... but most of that science the doctors already know. But the monitors... there is no degree requirment.
I get in monday night and I leave weds. early afternoon. It really is a quickie! especially since there is no direct flight...9 hours each way... blah.
Ummm even a short deposition would be too much for me.... Don't. Like. them. one. bit.
That was half the trouble with my dallas trip. Direct flight was about 3 hours of so, but coming back I had layovers and it took 5 hours....and I was sick that trip too!!
Well, I have yet to see the schedule . I'll let you know when I get the email. I just confirmed the flights and hotel yesterday afternoon. it's been very alst minute.

<yaaaaaaaaaawn> I'm so sleepy today! Three days of a draining low pressure system overhead has just been too much for me. I need some sunshine! ...or a nap if this is going to keep up!

You should get yourself one of those mood lamps nonick! I have patients who swear by them. It got down to -3 C last night, but my plants that I just bought seemed to have survived thankfully. Nice and sunny here, but still a wee bit chilly. Hopefully it gets nice for my 4 days off. It's Wednesday. I survived the morning at work. Just me and my boss in, and it's been pretty good. He's much more personable and fun than usual! Planning a walk after work with my friend/co-worker, then church practice, then yard work tomorrow. Finally got an appointment for a consult with the orthopedic surgeon on Friday after being referred a year and a half ago for my right shoulder. I mentioned to the receptionist that my left was affected now and far worse than the right and she said, well, this is for the right one only, you will need another referral for the left. So maybe I'll get the left looked at in another 2 years or so Ah well. Could be worse I suppose Have a great 'hump day' everyone!
