I signed up for Ladies Room, but you know, not one date works for me. I don't want to be anywhere near Vancouver during the Olympics. I'll be in Ontario over Easter. Darn. I'll have to hope for a good US date!!!!!
Thanks for posting this BNLater!

Hey all, It's been a while. How's everybody doing? At least those of you who are checking this thread here. Very quick (and somewhat related update) on my life. I'm working at a newspaper in Victoria as a reporter/photog now, and I finished school about a month ago so I'm doing pretty well. But I'm heading back to Van City on Friday to go see the Laugh it Out show, and then I'm so happy that they're playing in Victoria in April too, as I will definitely get a ticket to that. Anybody register for the Ladies Room? I'm wondering if it'll be worth it for me to pick up a membership for a good ticket in Victoria. Thanks all. I'm glad to see some familiar faces here, at least in this thread. Hopefully you're all doing well.
- Kyle

KYLE. I missed you. I am glad to hear things are going well. I guess whether LR is worth it is a judgment call. Let me know if I can help you with anything. Please give us a review of Laugh It Out

Thanks Sallie and nonick! It's nice to be back, albeit periodically right now, but I'm sure as shows approach and the album draws nearer I'll be more active (hopefully).
So Friday the tickets for the Victoria show went on sale. I didn't end up getting the Ladies Room package so I figured I'd end up with crappy 3rd or 4th row floor tickets (yeah, front row has made me a floor snob). Anyhoo, I was able to snag a front row seat somehow still, so I was really, really happy about that. And now I'm really anxious for the show.
Saturday night was the Laugh It Out show. And to be honest, and me attempting to be not completely biased towards Ed and Tyler, they were probably the second best act of the night (comedy wise), and obviously first music wise. Shaun Majumder, Sean Cullen and Nikki Payne were the comedian headliners. Ed and Tyler came out and played One Week. They told us a hilarious story about one of their experiences doing The Apprentice and their interactions with the winner Sean Yasbeck. Needless the say, the story involved french rape porn. Yeah. Nikky Payne came out. Nothing great. Ed and Tyler returned, told another story... about an encounter with a large hotel bellhop, asses and diving. Then they played Pinch Me (really made me appreciate the song again). Sean Cullen performed. Ed and Tyler backed him up on a song he sang. They told another story about Jim shitting himself. Then Shaun Majumder came out. Definitely the best of the three comedians. Ed beatboxed for a song he sang. Then the guys all did this 'I Believe' thing to mock the Olympic ads they've got going on. Overall, a pretty good night. It was great seeing them playing together. I haven't seen them on stage in two years, since they performed at a Chapters during their Snacktime tour. So I'm definitely looking forward to April now. The people a couple rows ahead of me were BNL fans too. They had their digital cameras out during their songs. I can't find it on YouTube yet, but I'm sure they will be.

Kyle sounds like a fun night. Congratulations on the front row tickets. I am sure you will do Random proud. Perhaps another sign and an encore wood block performance!!

Yep I got it. It is a great song. Have you seen the video of You Run Away?
BTW for those that joined LR, your welcome package will include a copy of All In Good Time

Hey madblack!
I'm excited. Front row for the Regina show on Apr 13. Will be really different show this time, not an arena venue, it's the Arts Centre...should be interesting!
As for the Subway track...haven't had a chance to check it out. Can't wait to hear it.
