HD TV??

Ok, this is a question for my tech. savy friends!!
Ok, last month I bought a new LCD TV and upgraded my cable box to HD. The TV is great, but on my upper channels (cable and HD channels) I get this frequent chirping noise. The picture is undisturbed. I'm going to try a new box tomorrow to see if that makes a difference. But I guess my question is... is it the TV or the cable. Who do I call?
Interestingly, the TV does not do it at all when I play PS2.....Makes me think it's a cable issue.
What do you all think?
Thanks!

I'm guessing it was the cable box? Did you ever get it fixed? I love high-def TV.....

We don't have HD, and I really have no desire for it.

Yes!! It is fixed and YES, it was the cable box!! I LOVE MY HD TV!! But it really depends on what you watch on it. Regular TV shows are nice... But sporting events? WHOA! I love my hockey games on it!! I can see their sweat, scruffy chins, and can almost smell 'em!! Sorry it doesn't do it for you BNLater. But I love it!!

I was just thinking that myself mob, probably because we are watching the Flames right now. There really is no comparison for most shows. We have to pay extra for it here, do you?

There are a few channels you can get no charge...but I did have to pay a little more for a HD cable box.

Once you start watching stuff in HD, especially sports, it's very very VERY difficult to watch it in standard definition.

We love our HD TV! We bought it 5 yrs ago and luckily it has kept up with technology and is even holding with the new Blu-ray technology. We got a PS3 at Xmas and have watched 'Spiderman' so far - it's amazing!
Also, we have become host to the sports games (I guess this could be good or bad depending on if you like to host.) - we're planned to host this weekend's football game, which I'm looking forward to.
