i use conditioner, and i kind of finger-comb it, but mostly just let it do whatever... it tends to behave itself fairly well
...i would die before letting my hair be that weird/gross

You don't like the rasta look? I hear it is easy to take care of. And I am all about easy when it comes to that stuff!!!

My sister had two dredlocks on either side of her face once. I didn't really like it. Now she has it as 50s-fied or whatever decade it was where woman had really short hair.
My hair? I can't sit on it yet. It's 28 inches. When I sit down it goes to the top of my pants. I mean, it's definitely long. It's definitely not mid back. It's lowerrrr back.
I want to have short hair for like a day, and then go back to having it really long.

I think the only way to do that would be extensions? Or perhaps, do a short wig? Yeah, ok two ways to do that.

No but the whole point would be to take a shower and not have to spend so much time on my hair. A wig wouldn't help me.
And I will NEVER put extensions in my hair. Ugh ugh ugh!

marketed I did not say they were good alternatives. LOL I guess you will just have to settle for the long hair that you have with its drawbacks!!!

hair clips are my salvation... not the little wimpy ones that are meant to hold less than a pinky-width amount, the big ones that you can just about put around your wrist hold my hair up real good ...that and braids... braids are very good for keeping hair out of the way and off your neck

Yes...I agree... non-wimpy/BIG hair clips or braids... either work well in my non-baby-fine hair...

They would probably work better in Brian's hair than they did in mine with it was long! I hear he likes the pink sparkly ones!!!

There are too many words for hair related things. Except they're all the same. So I should say that there are too many hair related things but not enough names for them. Therefore I cannot comment on this subject.
