Well, it's not Saturday here yet, but I may as well post a hello in this thread. I have to work tomorrow. Then tuzzi's girls are coming over for the night. I'm going to get them to help put up my Christmas tree, maybe get a movie and camp out in my living room, we'll see. Then it's a triple birthday party at my church on Sunday, we'll celebrate myself, my nephew Parker, and y sister inlaw's father. It'll be fun!
Have a great weekend everyone.

I'm never drinking again. Never. It's not worth it to feel this bad the next day. Ugh.

I guess it was a good weekend for Jessica and surprising, seeing as how the two of them are recovering from hangovers! We went to a retirement dinner on Friday and one of the ladies at our table might still be drunk! I guess it is the season!

Oh man. Staff Christmas party at a pub. My boss left relatively early and left us with an open tab. I think I was still legally drunk last night. Brutal. I still feel terrible.
What was surprising up to?

Jessica I am thinking that they had a party at their house, but that could be my faulty memory. Hey surprising, what was the occasion?

Kent and I went over to some friends house on Saturday night. The Mr had offered to pick us up but he didn't know if he could drive us home because he wasn't planning on being able to walk. He wasn't far wrong. Oy.
It was a lot of fun. They are Romanian and made traditional dishes. One was basically jellied pork (ham hocks) served cold with mustard to slather across the top. Ugh. So strange. It is a traditional Christmas dish in Romania. There was a beet salad with red cabbage, red onions and anchovies. It was better than the ham hock aspic but still very unusual. Then there were pork ribs, beef brisket and roasted potatoes. The main meal was fabulous and the starter courses were interesting to try.
They are really nice people and we had a great time but oh my goodness. Red wine does make for the worst headaches the next day. Ugh
