Well it is Tuesday yet again. SO what does this weekend have in store for everyone? Ours will be much like last weekend, one half day at the old house, probably painting Eric's old room, and the other day at the new house. I need to stain some new baseboard for the loggia since the floors are now done and looking beautiful!!! The furniture gets to move into the loggia and the courtyard!! WOO HOOO. Then it is putting the curios in place and filling them with many of our treasures! I think we will be ready for our 20 guests for Turkey Day!

That does sound awesome. We don't have any big weekend plans that I know of here.
Don't forget to vote today if your community is having an election over something.
We have city council members and school vouchers. Oy, what an ugly campaign that was. The big town next to us (my town is tiny, tiny) is voting for mayor and it has been quite the big deal as well.
Anyone else?

I do not believe there are any local elections, but then again we just registered.................dang, I wonder where I can check to see if there is something important on the ballot!?

We are electing a governor today. Which could impact pick magnet as she has a politically appointed job and you just never know what will happen with a new governor. The guy in office right now is about 15 points behind in the polls so he's most likely shit-canned.

Flipper, that's terrible! I hope it works out for pick magnet! Yikes!
Me, no big plans. Church dinner/meeting Saturday night I work Saturday, boo hiss. Sunday is my sister inlaw's birthday, and it's also a statutory holiday here, Rememberance Day. I think we may be going to see a local production of Oliver! My sister inlaw's parents are themusic directors for it, plus her dad has a small part. He apparently has to dance a little. I couldn't miss it for the world!
And I'm off Monday!
Crap, I just spilled apple juice all over my desk. Sigh. I knew it was going to be bad today when I woke up this morning and realized I had no coffee cream.

Shit canned!! Probably won't get re-elected either! LOL
As for the weekend, Troy is out of town so I will be the chauffeur. Basketball practice Fri night, bowling Sat am and Basketball game Sat afternoon. Baby shower in there somewhere.
Has anyone seen Gone Baby Gone? I can't believe I haven't mentioned it yet (maybe I have and don't remember) ...someone please go see it. It is really good. Better yet, everyone go see it and we can discuss it amongst ourselves.
DH- just think of the overtime!! That is the only only good thing about 10 days straight

Sounds like the holidays will be brisk and holidayish surprising. Somehow when it is 90 for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas some of the spirit is lost!
