I don't think I did say what kind of car here. It is going to be a Jeep 2-Wrangler Sahara in Red Rock Crystal Pearl with a dark khaki hard top and soft top. It's so cute! Here is a sample: Wow.... just as a side note: It doesn't look nearly that "Christmas-y" in person! The top is more of a beige... less... green.

I love it! What a great color. I don't think it looks too greenish. I love that pearly red.
I always wanted a Jeep but my ex told me I would roll it going around corners. I tend to like to drive fast on curves. Still do.
Be careful but have a great time! Cute, cute, cute!

surprising I already alluded to that fact with her, but she is young and doesn't look at safety ratings!!!

Isn't the roll factor getting better? I know that was a concern with my Honda CRV and other small car based SUV's, but now the onsumers guide says they are one of the safest, is that not the same with the jeeps now? I considered a jeep liberty when I was shopping around. I have a thing about Chryslar/Dodge though. I hate them. I don't know why, but I just prefer an import. Give me a japanese make over a domestic anyday. I'm such a car snob So hey nonick, are you leasing again then? Pretty sharp looking. It will be cool with the top down in the summer!

Argh. BNLater, can you pack up one of those spare keyboards of yours and bring it on the cruise. I'm probably going to be setting this one on fire in the near future.
That shoud have read consumers guide. The 'c' stuck. I hate this keyboard. Hate it.

I think cars are better. I drive a Rav4 and I have never had issues. I have to keep my tires rotated. My front tires show wear where I corner around the entrance ramp to get on the highway. (That's what my SIL said anyway. *eyeroll*)
I think it's stinkin cute and you need to be aware and defensive no matter what you drive so she'll be fine.

nice new vehicle nonick, where in the world have I been? Must not have read this thread for some time. I too love that color. Why the change? Something wrong with that PT Cruiser of yours?

Well I know that they totally reworked the '08 Wranglers, both 2-door and 4-door with more stabilizers, longer wheel base, etc. I'd like to think that I'm a pretty good driver, but I do like to drive fast. However, the Wrangler won't have the turbo charged engine in it like my PT does, so the roads of Toledo, Ohio should actually be safer! And to answer your question, iled, there really isn't anything wrong with the Cruiser, but it was only a three year lease. Shockingly enough, those three years are up!!! I had been online shopping for different cars while I was bored at work for the last month or so, test drove 4 or 5 things, and decided that I liked this the most because I can get both a vehicle that is good in the snow AND a convertible for summer. The fact that it's cute doesn't hurt anything either!

I am going to the store to get a few things then I will pick my son up so he doesn't have to ride the bus. It is supposed to snow this afternoon, keep your fingers crossed.
I had the kids yesterday, as I usually do on Monday. They are so cute and so tiring. Oy.
Madelyn is still the best but I think four months of having someone else's needs put before hers 24/7 is becoming old. Poor baby. Miranda and I took her to the Nutcracker on Friday and then we went out for dinner post-ballet so she still gets her special attention. She's really a sweetheart about it but I know she misses being the sole focus of the universe.

That is a tough lesson indeed surprising, but you are doing the right thing and doing some stuff that is just for her. The good will outweigh the bad!

It's Tuesday. I'm back to work today. I had the worst sleep ever last night. Hopefully the day flies by. I'm ready for Christmas holidays! And cruising!
