Meat, blech I wish I could move to California and live with BNLater. There is always something fun and cool going on there it seems. Have a good time! Anyone else totally make fun of Paris Hilton on Larry King Live tonight? There's no way she wrote those letters in jail. There were far too many big words in them. I have three more days of work to go. A six day week this week. I crashed this week slept 10 hours both Monday night and last night. I never do that.

Ok then, I just need a work visa! Hear hygienists make good money in California! It just sounds like more fun than Vernon. I mean, I live in a lovely city. It's beautiful here, and it's growing, but there's not alot to do, especially in the Arts department.

Jessica I hear you, and from what I hear hygienists are in big demand, so probably earn decent money. That is one cool thing about where we live, not in the city but close to three big hubs, LA, San Diego and Orange County...............can get theatre at any of those places.

We are smoking almost 20 lbs of pork tenderloin and 20 lbs of beef. (I know for you veggie eaters it sounds gross, but we actually have vegetarians coming for the fun). I will be making a vegan black bean couscous salad and there will be lots of various salads and things. It will be fun, it is a lot of work but always worth it. We normally do one a year or so.
We are going to a theatrical satire of all things Utah on the 29th. I bought twelve seats (three tables) so there will be a rowdy group from northern Utah there. It's always a lot of fun. There isn't a LOT of theater in Utah, but we do okay.

Ohh smoked pork tenderloin...yummy!!
surprising my parents used to go to a Shakepeare festival in Utah somewhere, at an outdoor theatre, and loved it. My mom is too busy anymore to drag my dad though.

That's in southern Utah. I have never been, but it is one of the few theaters in the world that was actually fashioned after Shakespeare's Globe Theater. Pretty cool stuff. You have to buy tickets and hotel rooms in advance if you want to go. It's on my list. We always seem to go to green for vacation rather than the heat. One day though, one day.

I know that feeling surprising. My son went one year, but I have never been. It sounds like a beautiful place.

Jessica so does Bob, I find the texture unappealing.

What exactly is couscous? I've heard it before but don't know what it is.

It's a pasta that only takes five minutes to cook. It is small grained (think large sand) and it takes on the flavor of whatever you put with it. Here is the recipe I use and it is FABO! Make it with veggie broth, use more dressing and add a LOT more cumin. allrecipes.com/Recipe/Black-Bean-and-Couscous-Salad/Detail.aspx
