I have no idea! Kent and I were talking about that yesterday.
Man, I feel like Rip Van Winkle or something. I must have been sleeping because I can't remember half of it.
Woooosh!

I know that feeling surprising. I mean the first half of the year flew by, but from like August to now was only about a day and a half!!!

the only bit I remember of this year was when I changed jobs, my son's courtcase and the orientation of my daughter's high school everything else is a blur

There are mile markers that will always stand out. I remember breaking my foot. It reminds me every morning! LOL
Speaking of Rip Van Winkle.... Vincent was a pill last night and today for his parents. Miranda loves it when he stays with Nana because I can always get him to sleep.
Today he slept for 2.5 hours! That is quite the nap (especially since he has to be held the whole time he sleeps) It really helped Miranda with her cookie baking this afternoon though.
I was in heaven though. There is just something so incredible about holding a baby when he sleeps.

He has to be held the whole time surprising?! Dang that would be tough to handle on a regular basis. I was extremely lucky, Eric was a fantastic sleeper and would often put himself to bed!

Miranda and Rick still have him sleeping in their bed. For the longest he had to be held at home too but now when he's at home he can be put in his swing during the day but I don't have a swing. At night he likes to be touching his mommy... holding her hand is preferred.
They put him in his crib but he screams for ever. They go in every five minutes to let him know he's not alone but it makes him worse. They can't stand it. I don't blame them. It would be hard.
The baby books say don't let him cry to sleep until he's six months old.
Miranda was not one to sleep all night until she was about a year old. It was scary because she turned a year old on July 8 and I was still getting up with her at least once a night and Brandon was due on July 30. I had no idea how I was going to handle two babies at night and I might as well have been a single mom for all the help my ex was. Then one day about two/three weeks before Brandon was born she just suddenly started sleeping. It was like a gift from God. I will never forget that feeling of relief. So funny. Not to mention he was two weeks late and I was exhausted from having a one year old and being nine months pregnant. (Just an FYI for you.... you can get pregnant when you are breastfeeding)

surprising, like I said I was very lucky. Eric slept through the nite at 2 weeks, and then around 10 weeks stopped until I started giving him a baby spoon full of rice cereal before bed, then back to sleeping all nite.

Whoops! I know a woman that I work with here fell for that old wives tale too, surprising. Only hers are 10 months apart!
