So yeh it's friday I've done loads today mainly trying to sort stuff out from Cornwall and re-pack as I'm away this weekend assessing a Bronze DofE group (yes on my birthday!) So I won't enter the thread I'm not allowed to enter until sunday, monday at the latest  |

Flipper...it was GREAT. The opener was Augustana...from LA. A group on youngsters, that can really rock it. It will be interesting to see what they do. Then Goo Goo Dolls were on. DAMN they need to turn down the bass!!!! I was disappointed with them. They have no real stage presence or relationship with audience...and the music is better listened to from the CD. Counting Crows ROCKED!!! But then we have seen them three times before, and that was our expectation!

Sad to hear that Goo Goo Dolls weren't that great, BNLater, I like most of their stuff that I've heard. Album versions only, of course.
So now that it's Friday, anybody have any big plans for the holiday weekend?? And just for a quick unofficial poll, who is actually working on Monday?

Ditto. Though the office will be basically empty...
Pretty sure I'm heading east this weekend to hang out with some friends and their dogs and work on my resume. All kinds of funness!

We (luckily) are closed on Monday. I guess with a family business, we have that luxury. Plus we figured most of our main clients would have a skeleton crew anyway.
Elvis Costello in Columbus tonight, outlet mall shopping tomorrow afternoon, Reds/Indians tomorrow night, then 3 days of house preparation.
Looking for a new gig there Nonick?
I guess I'll pass on the extra abuse just to have the day named after me. I can have my own little Flipper Friday right here in my office!!
