surprising I think you would love it. I love the versatility of it. If you have asparagus, put it in, or if you have shrimp put it in. I will try to get that recipe posted this weekend.

It's wacky Wednesday indeed! It's halloween! So is everyone ready for the evening of tricker treaters? I was never a fan of the holiday myself. Always hated dressing up. But it's been fun the last few years seeing all the kids. Jonah is going to be Pablo from Backyardigans, Jack is going to be a Frog and Parker is going as a Jack O Latern. Hopefully they stop by here. Tuzzi's kids are going as Little Bo Peep and a Princess. Not sure what her son is goin as, I forgot to ask! Maybe he can be a boxer with all the black eyes the poor kid has (scratched by a cat, threw a rock in the air and tried to catch it with his opposite eye, both eyes are now black). Anyhow, hope everyone has a good day! Especially nonick, hope you experience boundless amounts of energy soon!

No costume for me this year... sadly. I have all the pieces of the one from last year, plus the Devil Belle, but no where to take her or to wear mine. And tonight will be spent in lab for 3 hours... woo.

I went as mario this year, our trick or treat was last week. I passed out candy... I think every kind was spiderman this year.
I've been sick for the past 3 days... Went to the doc today and it turns out I have some sort of virus thats not letting me get any nutrients, which explains why I am so tired and run-down.

Tuzzi's son Cameron is 3 and a half BNLater. He's been clutzy since day one. He's such a boy! He looks like his parents beat him half the time (which they definately don't). I've seen this kid hurl himself off the couch and fall on the coffee table, walk into things etc. He's tough though.
My nephews showed up last night so I could see their costume. Both of them stood at the door, but when I opened it, they just walked right in and took their shoes off and though they were there for a play date. Didn't give a rats ass about the bowl of chocolate bars, they thought they were visiting auntie for fun. It was cute.
And my house wasn't egged this year!

Well that is good news Jessica......about the non-egging. I love how some kids are not about the candy, my son never was and it used to surprise me to no end.

My girlfriend had a son that was always doing something. He was fearless. I remember when he was three he was already trying to do wheelies on his bike and would jump off the swing when it was going. My kids were chicken, which suited me just fine.
Madelyn and Vincent came by last night but they didn't get here until 8:30. They spent the evening with their cousins. Madelyn is lucky to have cousins so close to her age, but it is a pain in the caboose when you want to do something with her that would be more fun for her with the cousins. I did get to go on the Fright Light walk this year, that is normally the kind of thing they do as a group.
We don't normally get eggs (that would be awful! they dry like cement) but our pumpkins normally end up in the driveway/street and we have to do clean up. Last night we put them in the trash can as soon as we blew them out! HA!

They usually wait until after Halloween at least, not always though so we keep them in the garage. Stupid kids.
When Brandon was riding the bus home from Weber State he heard some fellow students talking about trick or treating. They are in college and they still trick or treat? Someone has some issues.

surprising there are adults.............like over 25 that trick or treat around here! It is beyond freaky to me. The vast majority do not speak English or at least what they know is a second language. I just don't get it.
