He had a job last year but the boss was a real a$$hole and didn't give a damn...his NEW boss (yes he got the job) is a lot nicer and more approachable, we'll see how this job pans out...

Absolutely!! My sister and I did it for the last book, and we're doing it again for this one. It's actually kind of fun. Many of the bookstores throw little parties and stuff. Then they usually have some special sales going on, too. I'm looking forward to it. But I'm more looking forward to getting at least 100 pages into it before I hit the hay... maybe more... *checks clock to see if it's time to go home from work yet* DANGIT!

Yeah they do costume contests and the like around here. I have stood in line for very few things that way. I am not certain why I did not preorder it for delivery tomorrow, but I didn't. Oh well, Costco will have it.

I love it when you take me literally, it opens up so many possibilites for me.
Nothing much here that a long weekend won't solve.
I'm headed to Louisville tomorrow night - my wife's cousin has a new band and there doing a 30 minute set at another band's CD release party. Their first show, so lots of family headed in to check them out.
