No, it's the last day of the Farmer's Market and the Harvest Moon Festival with all day music and pumpkin carving things for the kids and vendors and caramel apples... they don't do anything like that on Sunday in Utah, might keep people from church.
Did you know they have laws in some counties that you can't have any "public" events like softball games or whatever on Monday nights because it would interfere with Family Home Evening? (Mormon thing) This state is pretty locked down in many ways still. It's pretty though.

surprising well I will keep my fingers crossed that you have nice weather for all day Saturday, and that it waits to get ugly until after you are home! It is not surprising to me at all that Utah is like that. I have lived in many areas with laws that are aimed at keeping people straight with their religious convictions....or maybe better said, making them keep straight with their religion. We represent many institutions that are Seventh Day Adventists, who celebrate Sabbath on Saturday. They are so strong in one town our here that the mail is not delivered on Saturday, but is on Sunday. Hey if it works for them!

I hope you are getting better weather than us Surprising. It's miserable here today! My best friend is Seventh Day Adventist, and then I'm a Christian, so when we spend weekends together, there's alot of compromise happening. We will shop on Saturday, I buy things, she puts them on lay away, then we go back Sunday so she can buy them. Some can be extremists, but Edna will see a movie on a Friday night without feeling too guilty (Sabbath is from Friday sundown until Sat sundown). We don't believe in spending money on Sundays etc, but we aren't strict about it, shrug. I'd like to study different religions sometime, it's all pretty interesting. Wow, not sure why I posted all that, but hey, there it is. Back to your regularily schedule postings

My itchy eye is now gone... I'm still not quite sure what it was.. As for the car: That was when we first brought it home... I spent ALL day yesterday cleaning the inside and out. It looks 100% better now... I can actually see out the windows!

Devin!! That is so awesome. Did you drive it around most of the weekend? What kind of rules do you have with it? How lucky for you.

Well, iLed... The problem is, the tags are expired. And the title isn't even in my name... So we need to get that straightened out. I (hopefully) get my license Tuesday, then I can work on getting the title all in order. I mostly spent all weekend cleaning it, and I did drive it around our small neighborhood a little.
As far as rules go... I have to pay the insurance, which means get a better job. And any other costs I have to pay for, too. Thats all I know so far, anyways!

My Chevy Cavalier 2 cars ago looked remarkably similar to yours Devin. It was a good car, I still see it around town occasionally.

I practiced my maneuverability tonight... I'm a bit more confident now. I can always take the test again in another week if I do fail, it took my cousin 4 times to pass before she got her license and she's a good driver! (But the maneuverability is hard.)

But very important Devin. Do you still have to parallel park in Ohio? They don't test that in California..........and man does it show! Good luck with the test!
