Thanks Jessica, Troy is out of town working so my mom is cooking a roast with yorkshire pudding on Sunday as she didn't want to make a big turkey since my brother is out of town as well. Thankfully we got invited to our friends place on Monday for turkey. I am taking buns, this wicked broccoli casserole and some homemade cranberries. There will be another family there and all the kids are the same age and we have been friends for years so it will be really nice.
We have a really busy weekend (I try and do that so the kids don't miss Troy too much!) Emily has bowling this am then off for winter coat and boots shopping for both kids, seeing the movie with The Rock in it, mini golf if the forecast is true for tomorrow, chicken wings with some other friends....oh yah, some house cleaning too! What about you? I should send you this recipe for this broccoli dish, do you eat cheese? It is yummo!

Yummo! We do a roast with a yorkshire pudding for Christmas every year. I tried to talk everyone into it for our Thanksgiving next month, but I was outvoted.
Hope your weekend is lovely! (was lovely?)

I hope that Thanksgiving was great for all our friends up north. I am getting geared up for our which is approaching ever so quickly. I am making my famous brined turkey, mashed potatoes, a new cauiflower casserole.............maybe some homemade clover leaf rolls...............and I think we are getting a honeybaked ham. I dont know that I can find a turkey big enough to feed 20.

I'm drinking raspberry and white decaf tea... it's fruity, though non-alkeehallik... BOOO. I might need to add a dash of something to it later this evening though while watching the Indians game!!

Like what nonick. I would think almost any alcohol would overpower the delicate flavor of the white tea. I need to make more sun tea tomorrow................we are out. It is really funny we go in cycles from drinking like 4 gallons a week to me throwing a single batch away untouched! Now I have to decide what concoction I will brew tomorrow.

Hmm... not sure what would go well with it...? Could maybe go for something like a vodka that wouldn't really add any flavor to it. Or you could go with something that would totally change it, like maybe a Malibu or Peach Schnapps or Amaretto... everything is better with Amaretto...

I love amaretto.............perhaps I need to get some of coffee this weekend, although I love it on the rocks or with orange juice or sour mix.
