It's Friday!
I came out to a flat tire after work last night. Totally flat, on the rim. A nice older man left a note on my windshiels written on a napkin to let me know! Good thing because it was dark and I would have just driven away. So my brother came out and changed it for me, which made me get home too late to make my dance class. Ah well. Hopefully Honda can repair it and put my spare back on my hatch tomorrow after they put my winter tires on.
That was my excitment for the week.
Hope you all have a good day and an even better weekend!

Ohhhh boo!!! Flat tires suck, Jess! At least it happened when you weren't driving it, that can be dangerous. I'm happy that the week is over. Perhaps a nice weekend might pull me out of Cranky Zone!

I agree tires are not fun when they go bad, but it is definately better in a parking lot than on the freeway!! I was nice of your brother to come and change it Jessica. Don't you have an auto club up there that will do that for you? nonick I hope your have a FAN-f%(*kingTastic weekend. I would love to see you gain some seasonal glee in your life!

I know I am a AAA person since I worked for them for ten years but seriously.... get CAA.
It is so worth the peace of mind that it brings knowing you will never be on the side of a dark highway trying to change a tire. You seriously wouldn't want your brother to have to be on the side of the highway changing your tire either. With is being in a parking lot it's no biggie, but the side of the road is dan-ger-ous. I have made Kent SWEAR he will never change the tire on the side of the interstate even though "he's a man" and could do it. People are nuts and drive aggressively and like crap.
/commercial off.
My Friday will be fine. I am recording Captain's Courageous onto a DVD, going to do a bit more wrapping and just a touch of shopping. The weekend looks to stay cold and possible snow. (YEAH!)
Yesterday was my son-in-law's birthday so they are coming over for Greek food on Sunday and we can give him his present. I recently discovered puff pastry and have been dying to try spanakopita so I will make that with Greek potatoes, souvlaki and a lemon cake. I have NO idea what I am doing since I have made any of it before but that's half the fun! LOL

Ummm. No, I think that has an anise taste to it. It's what I hear anyway. We may have a spicy zin. Greek wine has a strong cedar flavor (along with Georgian/Russian) to me. I don't know what the beverage will be. Probably just iced tea. Miranda called me today. They took Vincent to the doctor for his four month checkup. He weighs 17.9 lbs and is in the 95%.... still. What a cutie pie. A huge cutie pie, but a cutie pie.

...no, no... It is not about "Fruity Drinks" this weekend, it is all about the BEER!!!!! CHRISTMAS BEER!!!! And no snow storm is keeping me away from it either! Besides that, if I don't go to Cleveland this weekend, no one is getting any Christmas presents at all.
So, what does everyone else have in store for this fine upcoming weekend?

Have a great time nonick.
Lets see, the oldest neice is arriving at our house tomorrow at 11 am, and will spend most of the day baking with me. Then to dinner and off to see her two little sisters in Nutcracker. Then we got conned into taking all three girls for the night. Then to breakfast Sunday with all three at 8 at which time my sister in law will get the girls and we can get some more stuff done in preparation for Christmas.

I am watching the kids tonight so Miranda and Rick can go to her work Christmas party.
Tomorrow I am driving around looking at China patterns wishing I was going to Cleveland to drink Christmas beer at one of my favorite breweries with one of my new favorite people.
Sunday I am.... donno... sitting on my butt?
