Well your friday sounds better than mine
I have been applying for EI and I think I will be running to town on Monday with my papers and a bunch of resumes, something will show up soon, so that I can pay some bills, argg
I wish I was young again (like a teen)

surprising, the thought of just taking off and driving sounds better some days than others!! And laura...would you really want to be a teenager again? Noooo way here. I mean I would take that body back, but not my experiences and knowledge and self worth etc. |

What is "EI" Laura? And I agree, as much as I loved the fun parts of high school, there is no way I'd want to go back and relive the "unfun" parts! And Surprising, you are more than welcome to come and join us for some Christmas Ale! And pick up BNLater on the way! I have a feeling if we had an established DD we could be Double Dangerous!!  |

EI is employment insurance. Laura, you will get a job soon. This town is booming. There's tons of work out there, you just have to be patient and might have to do some temp or lower paying work in the meantime (and no, I'm not talking fast food!).
I'll be you DD nonick. I'm still recovering from last Saturday night, ugh. Alcohol is evil and should be illegal.

lol... Well, evil I will somewhat give you, Jess... Let me just say that Christmas Ale has a MUCH higher al-kee-hall content than "normal" beer. One... and me and Steph were feeling it... three.... she and I were toasted! I'll let you know tomorrow morning whether or not I feel it should be outlawed! |

Happy Friday everyone! I just thought that I have one job lined up for sure, starting in January and a second interview lined up for next week at a local starbucks. I have a few resumes out for work related to my degree but they won't let me know until January.

Yay Laura! She needs to make a little bit of $$$ before the cruise for spending BNLater! But it will all work out, it always does in the end.
So yup, here it is, Friday. I'm working until 4:30, then I am babysitting my nephews tonight. Working tomorrow, having tuzzi's girls over for the night, then taking Laura out for appy's and a drink as a belated birthday celebration. And I have 10 days off for the holidays! Yay!
Have a fantastic weekend all! Maybe I'll catch up with nonick on MSN at some point, we keep missing each other!

I wish I had 10 days off!!! But the end of the year is never a time to take off around here...........there is $$ and you have to fight for yours!

I'm being completely L-A-Z-Y on my holidays here. I worked the 22nd and am off now until Jan 2nd. Yesterday I didn't get out of my pj's at all. I cleaned my house and shovelled the driveway, all in my j's. I didn't shower or get dressed until 2 pm today. Then I went out grocery shopping, came home and hour later and am now exhausted. I need a vacation. A cruise would do it Have fun tonight nonick! I'm saving the fruity drinks for NYE. No big plans for the weekend for me really. A little shopping tomorrow, lunch in Kelowna with a friend, then I'm taking tuzzi's girls for a couple of nights. How about everyone else? Have a good Friday and a great weekend everyone! |

Social butterfly... now there's one I don't think I've ever heard in reference to myself... Last night was the best night so far, but I think that is because I didn't have to work today! I didn't get home until after 7am this morning. I'll be so sad when they leave!
