Today is the start of a new life for me, as the door to the abuse and the past has been closed and the door to the new me has been opened and I am now on my journey "home" to Canada....

Woo it's Saturday and I've just got back from work. It's an exciting day today as I sign the contract for my new flat this afternoon then get dressed up and go to the May Ball  sooooooooo over excited. Anyway below is a pic of me looking all posh in my tux.  |

My daughter was to have a horse riding lesson today but my sister smashed her teeth yesterday and is unable to drive her, she was disappointed but coped with the upset better than I expected....

Aaaahhh Saturday... went to some yard sales this morning with the kids and Kristy Rose is very excited - she bought 10 books for $2.00. Which means I've managed to postpone the trip to the book store for a few more days - YAY! Now I'm going to have some lunch and start cleaning for our big cookout which we're having NEXT Saturday. |

maa the library is a wonderful place for ravenous readers. Here not only can you check out books, but they have a store where books are regular a buck or two a piece. So what is on the menu for the big cookout?
