Okay, going back a bit, Jessica..... I always hurt more the second day after doing something strenuous! I thought it was just me though. I remember the first time I did a yoga tape and I was telling myself afterwards that I was going to hurt so bad tomorrow. The next day came and went and hardly even a twinge of pain and I thought I must have done something right! Then the next day hit.... like a semi-truck!!!

nonick that is typical actually. I think the muscles are in shock the first day, still pumping stuff that makes it hurt less, the second day that quits and BAM.

I'm bored today so I've been watching The Shining and snacking on baby carrots. I was supposed to go out shopping but I can do it tomorrow.
Come to think of it, I haven't had pizza in a while. Hmmm.......

No. I hear it's so much better than the movies. I really should, though.

Well, it was abusy Saturday off for me. Had an appointment at the bank to buy some RRSP's, shopped with my brother this afternoon. Couldn't find any tile I liked for my kitchen. Popped up and watched Tuzzi's daughters' ballet class for a bit, such great little dancers those two are! Then bought a baptism gift for nephew. I've been asked to be Parker's Godmother, I'm quite honoured!
Then we ordered in pizza and watched the hockey game, leafs kicked some Edmonton butt tonight to hopefully win the last playoff spot in their division! Tuzzi's brother is visiting from Alberta, so he joined us for the game.
Just got home and am baking some cupcakes for after the church service tomorrow. I'm quite tired, but I hope to get some piano practice in tonight.
How was everyone else's weekend?

Sounds like you had a good weekend, Jess!
My weekend so far is great! My mom, dad and I went to Columbus today to go furniture shopping. We picked out a nice couch, loveseat and chair, and we will pick it up Tuesday!
While my mom and dad looked at furniture for a bit, I had them drop me off at Best Buy and Walmart. I went to Best Buy and bought Warioware, which was quite a splurge, but it was well worth the money! And now I already have the same amount of money in games as I paid for the Wii... Geez, I really need to stop buying stuff I really don't need! But, like I said, Warioware is an awesome game for the Wii, and I highly reccomend it!
Then after Best Buy I went to Walmart and bought some bright orange and green duck tape. Very cool stuff!
So, It's not about 11:00 and I am getting tired... Next Tuesday I get to go and take my Drivers' Permit Test! Woohoo! So I'd better study, and go to bed soon... G'night!

Wow sounds like you had a good day Jess. I vegged out until I had to go to work and then worked until 9. Now I think I will watch Grey's Anatomy because I taped it and hit the hay because I am tired and have to be at work by 6:45am. I actually like my job so far. I am working with a nice person and I am not looking forward to working with the girl that has the shift before me on Fridays, she's pretty whiny and vulgar but thinks she's being funny, oh well. That's life

It sounds like everyone had a heck of a day already. Dragon, you can really use a day so good on ya. You deserve it! Jess... congrats on being the Godmother. That is such an incredible honour. (Canadian spelling just for you! ) Devin, I can hardly wait to see the pants you make. I don't have a clue about the video games. Back in the day pinball was the game and I always just thought it was a waste of .25 I think I have always been a cheapo, but I am glad you have things that make you happy. Laura, My daughter watches Gray's and she LOVES it. I hope you enjoyed your time relaxing. I had a good enough weekend. Last night we realized my male kitty (Kismet, my special boy) hadn't moved for at least a day. With three cats it's hard to tell when one is down. I called the vet this morning, took him in and his temp was 103.6 , which is high. He expressed his kidneys for a urine sample and when I was putting Kissy back in his carrier to go to the back to have a blood sample done, Kissy proceeded to pee all over me. The vet was like.... "OMG, He's peeing all over you." Gee thanks Dude, I really needed that update.... I just held Kissy and told him to go ahead and get it all out because he would feel better. I mean, once you have pee down to your shoes what are you going to do? The vet was in shock that I cared more about my cat than my clothing... I would give my cat a kidney if he needed one. He is my child. I guess most people that come in there would freak out, but honestly, if your baby hadn't moved for 24 hours wouldn't you be so glad he was going to be more comfortable you would encourage him to get it all out? The vet told me... "you are so nice" and it really made me sad that most people he saw would be all freaky over their clothes and not their baby. Anyway, Kissy is doing better. The vet took blood (and urine! LOL) and the tests will be back on Monday. He gave Kissy an injectable antibiotic and I have to give Kissy the "bubblegum" liquid twice a day for the next two weeks. Kissy does feel better. He hasn't eaten, but he has licked the gravy off some wet food. He spent some time tonight with us in the living room. He should be fine. I can at least breathe now. Before I was so scared I felt sick. I don't know what he could have gotten into. With Kent and I both sick I told the vet, but he said Kissy's lungs sounded okay. My cats all stay in, except for their fenced cat area, so there shouldn't be anything strange. The girls are both okay. The girls are both being really snarky to him. I don't know if it is because he smells funny from the alcohol from the blood tests and being at the vet or if his blood chemistry or what. I told my husband that if the girls weren't careful they were going to spend the weekend in the basement. I have no idea what could be wrong, you find yourself looking at everything and questioning and analyzing and.... Oy. enough already! Anyway, that has been my Saturday. I didn't post earlier because I didn't have anything good to say. I think his behavior is much better now so I am on the better side of the roller coaster. Keep him in your thoughts, but I know it's going to be okay. xoxo

Yes, we Canadians like our 'U's' Sorry to hear about your cat, Surprising. Pets are meant to become part of your family when you take them on, and I can completely relate to the 'like your child' thing. I've lost 2 dogs and a rabbit in my lifetime and it was damn hard. I hope to hear he is feeling better. How old are all your cats. I've tried to watch Grey's Anatomy, but I'm still ticked that Denny died at the end of last season and can't bring myself to watch anymore. I love new furniture Devin. I've gotten my share in the last year: couch and love seat, dining room table with a buffet/hutch and a new bedroom set. Good luck with your driving/learners test!
