I had an ok saturday got woken up early by the kids wanting stuff that was dumped in my room...then ended with my brother-in-law, mother & cousin involved in a car accident the car is right-off they escaped with cuts, bruises & concussion.....the driver that hit them was drunk - I'm thinking that getting my licence is a bad idea!!!!

Glad to hear everyone is OK there DH. Pretty scary, I'm sure.
I'm not sure what your laws are there, but here's hoping the dumb-ass driver gets strung up by their toenails.

Welcome to a great saturday...Me did some work out in the backyard, fighting with weeds, spiders & other bugs, so I can get a lawnmower in to mow it without stopping to get rid of some unexpected rubbish that has found its way amongst the backyard...

Happy Saturday to all. Usually I get up at 6:30 everyday no matter what. Today I slep in till 8! Yay me! Hope everyone else is having a good day as well!

I'm so jealous Froggy! I get up at 5 am usually everyday. It's not so much a problem on my days off, it's on work days that I don't feel like getting out of bed! Never used to be that way, sigh. Ok, I have to not belly ache about working 11 freaking hours today. We are supposed to have sunshine and warm temperatures today too, boo hoo. I'll be needing alot of Tim Horton's coffee to get me through this day. Oh, and apparently muscle pain from jazz dancing kicks into high gear 2 days later because I hurt way worse that I did yesterday! Everytime I rolled over last night I woke myself up. Apparently this is good for me. At least I'll have the 3 pm to 6 pm oldies show on my local radio station to look forward to today. Makes it fun. Kind of. Hope the rest of you have a great Saturday  |

I got to sleep in until 9 am mind you spent half the night awake with the damn tooth ache! hope everyone has a great saturday!

Jessica, early mornings here too usually from getting the kids up for school. We did manage to sleep in til 8 today. Nice warm weekend for us too in Calgary (21 tomorrow!!!) Do you get the same days off every week? You seem to work alot!

My god, I slept in- tilll 11. Today was going to be incredibly lazy with me watching movies like Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away (oh, yes, reliving my childhood) and making quesadillas and s'mores, but I think I have to go to my mom's school for 5 hours and help her set up for class. Funfunfun....

Do you get the same days off every week? You seem to work alot! Up until this past January I was putting in almost 70 hours a week between two clinics, Monday to Saturday. I found someone to take over my Monday's for me, so now I'm off Sunday and Monday. Thurs to Sat though, I work 7 am until 6:30 pm. Starting this January, I'm dropping down to working every second Saturday due to burn out. I think the biggest problem is the long days. Pretty tough to sit hunched over people all day for that long. We'll see if cutting back the Saturdays helps.......... Oh, and a high of 25 here tomorrow! Yay! |

yeah the tooth is dying...I chipped it 6 months ago and havent had the chance to go and have checked out, but I will be going to the dentist first thing monday morning, prob the first day in a long while I have a chance to go...
