The progression of the pictures was this: 1) sleeping soundly; 2) they heard my dad walking around upstairs and the floor/ceiling was creaking, they were looking up/around for the sound; and, 3) I "hey"ed at them once they were already awake to look at the camera. That was the "What???" look. She is fitting in somewhat better Jess... sometimes.... she's still crazy though!

What cute pictures. Your small dog is a cutie, but she looks like she has attitude. The larger dog just looks totally chill.
That maybe a 100% contradiction to their actual personalities. Looks can be deceiving.

Ohhhhh damn, I so wish I had the ultimate 'tude picture of Annabelle available to me now. I will try to resize and post that this weekend sometime. It will confirm all your suspicions about The Belle, and then some, surprising! However, the big one only looks laid back because she was half asleep. That dog is fruitier than a nutcake!

surprising she is a funny dog. When I was there a year ago (heavy sigh) I was sleeping on a cool air mattress on the floor. We got home really late and I got all ready and crawled into bed. I then feel a set of eyes staring at me, it was Belle. I patted the bed and up she jumped and settled right in. At like 3 am my time I feel eyes again and Belle is standing on the mattress staring at me, so I am thinking What do you want? Hmmm, so I pulled back the covers and down to the bottom of the bed she goes and settles in and goes back to sleep! That is my personal Belle story!

Well the look on her face in that picture is more of a "don't you take my picture, bitch." The arm in picture is mine and Belle was on my lap, Steph had my camera and was trying to get Belle to look at her for a picture. "Fat chance, honey," was the response she got from the Belle. She tends to be very aloof and prefers men to women, the bigger the guy the better... although bribing her with toys seems to warm her up as evidenced by BNLater's story!  |

No word from the owner apparently. I would say nope we aren't. I will not give it back if I get it, and she sounds like the kind that would ask for it back.

Jessica, from all that I have heard it needs to get out of that one that is for sure. But it is getting to an age what will make it impossible for me to take it and have a chance to socialize it with my pack. It is really sad that they don't make you take some sort of test before they let you have a puppy.
