Sure we get winter... but not yet. It is still FALL!! My favorite time of year!! Even though the sun was out and the sky was so blue that day, it was still pretty chilly, especially with the wind off the lake. If you can see any people in those pictures (I purposely tried not to get people in them), most of them have on jackets, coats, ear muffs, hoods, gloves, etc.

you are right, it looks like a glorious day. We close our one little lonely only amusement park about 6-8 weeks ago. Looks like a great place.

The ghoul bus needs some of those Grateful Dead stickers in the window. bwahahaha. Sorry, it just made me giggle.
I have some pictures I uploaded but I compressed them first. Let me see how well I did.

Here's some party pics: People in the living room doing the carving and chatting with friends. Kent is at the very end on the left. His costume will be morphing into something else before our New Years' Eve party. In the kitchen doing pumpkins. You know you have nice parties when people wear tux's! These are our friends from Romania. They had never carved a pumpkin before and she ended up taking first place for her cat. (I can't find a decent photo. sorry) It was not spectacular but I think our friends stepped up to the plate. She was as excited as a little kid. My son is on the left. I hated his costume, it was just ewww!

Wow, scads of pictures! I like the pumpkins. Were they some sort of kit? I think the first one is Jimi Hendrix (sort of goes with his ganja-inspired "costume"!)...

*ding, ding, ding* They are the pattern pumpkins. We get them off the internet. *cheapcoughcheap* Last year Kent did John Lennon. It was great. All of the guys have patterns available on the internet. I have thought about doing my own little BNL set, but no one would get it except me.

Well Bob Dylan was my first guess...........but now I see Jimi. Actually I think some of the BNL guys pumpkins are just creepy! Cute pictures of the cute kids!! He gets cuter all the time, and Miranda is growing up so fast. Pretty soon it will be seeing grandma to buy her a new outfit to go hang at the mall with her friends..........followed by BOYS!!!

BNLater, hush your mouth! I am so not ready for that and I swear when I look at her I see it just around the corner.
I took off her eye makeup last night before they left. It was late and I have "magic stuff" that removes mascara and stuff with no tears or scrubbing. Madelyn's eyelashes are sooo long that she is going to be a stunner. Holy moley.
I know kids didn't grow up so fast before. How do you keep them young? I think it's too late for Madelyn, she's already almost a teenager. *sigh*
