<<smacks head.......where did I come up with Miranda? Arrgggghhh senior moment!
surprising they do grow up over night I swear. My son just turned 20...........egads I am not old enough to have a 20 year old son!!!!!! But watching my neices grow up has been scarier.........they are so different than boys and they have so much crap thrown at them about image and such. My 9 year old neice worries about what she wears! Makes me want to cry!

BNLater, Miranda is my daughter. 20 years old, you must have had him when you were a baby yourself! *smooches* Madelyn was giving me the caloric value of foods the other day. Her other grandmother was telling her about them. I think teaching them to eat an apple instead of a blow pop is one thing but telling her she shouldn't eat cheese on her sandwich because cheese is fattening? That's going too far.

Oh I feel better now, I did not just make up Miranda!! Whew!!!! I will have to remember you have M names..............all of our neices and their parents start with J..........drives me nuts! Awwwww aren't you a good sucker upper?? I actually had my son close to 30, so not young at all. I just don't act my age!!!!!! I have struggled with weight all my life, and have some real food hang ups..........so I was bound and determined not to give my son any. We never discussed weight or calories, but rather what your body needed and how to get it. He was a great eater............although that has not lasted into the teen years and now beyond! The whole body image thing is so out of whack...........it makes me sick to see what it does to young girls (especially). I want to scream at parents for buying their 4 year old Britney Spears short short skirts and midriffs................come on people!!! I was watching the news yesterday evening and they were talking to kids about their costumes and there was a little girl, maybe 5 saying he wanted to look sexy!!! HUH? <<slowly steps off soap box

Great pumpkins!! Somewhere on the 'net I'm sure you could still stumble upon the pattern that was created for Ed's head. How fun is that?

Well I wouldn't say it's been that warm, but apparently the poor trees thought it was. It's been pretty steady in the 50's for a while now and into the 60's today... just like early spring!

I fear those trees may not be thrilled at the next freeze!

Sad, sad, sad. Damn global warming anyway. They do make lovely decorations though.

Those trees are lovely nonick! The flowers do seem out of place for end of November though. I think my tree is going to go up this weekend. I'll get Tuzzi's daughters to help me.

Yep! No problems at all. The guy did make a note of the dings on the passenger side, they were really only little ones that wouldn't take anything to get out, but when he input everything into the system he didn't even put them in. So no charges plus I was way under on mileage. He also either didn't notice, or didn't care that there was one mismatched tire on it, too. But shhhhh, I won't say anything if you don't!!

You can count on me! I won't snort a word of it to anyone Seriously, I'm glad it went well, I heard horror stories when it was getting time for me to turn my truck in at the end of the lease. So what did I do? I flipped it off the highway and flatened it like a pancake. I sure showed them, didn't I? The new wheels look great! I love it!
