2008 is going to be fab-u-lous. I can feel it.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season. We are doing great.
I have a feeling of panic when I think of how close the cruise is. Wow!

Think I said this New Year's Eve, but best wishes for the new year to everyone. Spent a quiet evening in here, watching old Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movies on (I think) TMC until we fell asleep. Actually, not a bad way to spend it! Don't even start getting me in Cruise Panic Mode, BNLater. I have taken the liberty of beginning to chuck random items randomly in a suitcase so I do not forget them. Sadly, the suitcase already appears to be full and I have not yet packed. Hmmm, this can't be good. At least the kids are back in school, glory hallelujah!

LOL binskki. I will get out the suitcases this weekend and begin the collection process on the spare bed. Actually the stuff that will panic me is more related to stuff to do around the house.

I feel your pain. On top of the usual stuff I ought to be getting done around the house, I have mice. Again.
It's not that I don't like mice...but why oh why must they come and crap in my home? I don't crap in their homes.
This is what happens when you live in the woods.
Marc ought to be all set for the trip, packing-wise; he has a massive collection of goofy camp shirts, to which I added one with pink flamingos on it at Christmas. We will be STYLIN! We will be the Doofus Twins! LOL

BNL needs to have Reyna do a BNL inspired Hawaiian print for shirts!

Happy new year, iled! BNLater, I would be so there with the BNL-inspired Hawaiian print. I might have to redecorate my home. Wait, I wouldn't need to redecorate, as my home is presently late-Twentieth-Century Eclectic. Everything goes with Late-Twentieth-Century Eclectic.

LOL binskki. I guess my house is kinda that way too. I am a firm believer in liking a piece and putting it where I want it. I tend to go toward the mission/arts and crafts stuff, but I have some antique pieces that probably do not qualify. I am also very functional.

I tend to lean towards vintage/retro. I got my wall clock off eBay. It is a large wooden sunburst kind of style that was popular in the 50's. I have a hoosier cabinet in my dining room from the 20's. We eat off the formica table that was Kent's as a child. I like old and kitschy but not overly cutesie.
I don't know of a name for that.
I don't have a packing list made yet and I really need to decide what clothes I am bringing. I bought a green outfit over the internet the other day. The shirt is cute but the capri pants that go with it are the strangest most bizarre things ever. I haven't decided how to fix them to make them work yet. I have to actually get my clothes out to make sure I really want to bring them. Does that make sense?
