Well, it's a bit of a skeleton crew here at work today considering the holiday tomorrow, but maybe that means we'll be released early... *crosses fingers*
Any of the American boarders have big plans for the 4th?

I personally have no plans except to watch 2 games of the World Cup - we're down to the semi's! We'll probably do a BBQ with the usual fixin's.

Well, a GOOD BBQ would be ribs and such, but I was talking more like burgers, dogs, potato salad, mother-in-law, chips and beer.

I'm so lame... up at college and no plans for the 4th... oh well, maybe I'll get ahead in my classes so I have less stress later on?
Wonder how Cali'll be with the fireworks... It's her first time, but I suspect she'll do fine, she's a brave little pup.

I agree with BNLater that a roasted MIL (yours and mine) is the way to go!! We have indeed had this discussion and we (once again here I go speaking for ALL Canadian) would call that a BBQ and WE would be more likely to call a cook-out something you drove out of town for or to a big park and everyone came there just for this cooking business. Both of which I love equally, well except for the mother-in-law part, cooked or not.
