Thanks for asking, nonick. Seems we are having the same weather pattern as upstate. We had a pretty good Easter. We were supposed to have brunch at my sister-in-law's but she thought it might be too cold for her mom and dad. So, everybody had their own dinner. I served ham with asparagus and cheesy potatoes which everyone enjoyed. My daughter and I made a bunny cake on Saturday which was our Sunday dinner desert. Everything tasted delish. As my kids are older, we don't have baskets anymore, although my daughter was hinting for one plus a stuffed animal. She has a ton of those already so we skipped that this year and just settled for each others company. My son was supposed to work all day but after the brunch rush, business slowed so he was able to eat dinner with us. All in all, not a bad Easter.

We did dinner at my MIL..........I really wish she would have let me host it. But alas. But we all survived. Then hubby and I went to see Working. It was fantastic.
Weather here is 67 and rising.............YUCK!

I had 19 people in my house for Easter dinner yesterday. We had a cold buffet, lots of salads, cold turkey, ham, buns, appy's, tons of food. But wow, I have a mess to clean up still! Mainly just alot of vacuuming left and some dishes still to do. It was fun though! Today was chilly, but sunny. Went and bought some plants. Practiced piano. Ate leftovers. Holy garlic. I have to work tomorrow and Wed only, all by myself. Well, my boss, Mr. Crankypants will be there. Could be interesting. He's going to do my check ups and front desk stuff. The assistant and receptionist are away. Hopefully all my patients will show and I won't be forced tomake uncomfortable conversation with him Have a good week everyone!

Sounds like fun Jessica, but lots of work after the fact lol. Didn't do anything this weekend but study and stay in bed, not a good time.
Found out today that my MIL is coming to stay with us...so I will be not living with my boyfriend until she's gone hahahaha. Can't deal with her in the teeny tiny 1 bedroom apartment. Gah!
Tried to book tickets for my trip yesterday and somehow managed to spell my name completely wrong so now trying to cancel everything so I can try again. Ok not trying, successful on the cancelling, just waiting to get the refund. Go me and the brain fog not letting me pay more attention lol. Oh well
Hope everyone has a good week, we'll see where this takes us

It was especially fun kevfan because I was quite liquored up before the guests arrived, thanks to two instense games of Scrabble with a few rum and cokes with my mom See, I come by it honestly! Three can definately be a crowd in a small 1 bedroom apartment. You have somewhere else you can stay then, until she's done visiting? Good luck rebooking the trip!

Monday's suck! All weekend it seemed I had something to do. So I was tired today. And it was raining all morning. I wanted to hang out some laundry and for the past two Mondays I couldn't because it was raining. Just when I think I have the house straightened up, my son comes in and brings dirt in with him so it looks like I haven't done a thing. Then, he asks if I'm going to get more milk because he has nearly drank all of it. But does he volunteer to go get it? Noooooo. My daughter forgets to tell me she has choir practice after school so I make the trip to pick her up for nothing. She tells me to come back at 4:30 and then proceeds to call at quarter after 4:00 and say they got done early. Then she picks a fight with me over whether or not George Clooney actually sang in "O, Brother Where Art Thou?", which he didn't. But her friends knew better.
And that concludes my rant for today. Thank you very much for your patience. I will now go hide in an old hat box until I feel somewhat human again. That should take a day or two. So carry on with your lives, citizens. Super Shower-Bonnet Woman signing off.

Like you silly, I had such a busy weekend! Little sleep, then I went to Hear the Music here in Vernon (Christian Rock Music), went to the late show with my bro and sister inlaw, got home after 11 pm and had to work today. I was so damn tired, yet spent most of the night on the verge of sleep. I was so tempted to call in sick this morning, I could barely get out of bed! But I survived Took a melatonin and will be heading to bed very shortly tonight. I love nervous breakdowns kevfan

Hey, it's Monday. I'm off. Not up to much but some housework and piano playing. Kind of being lazy and avoiding it right now. On my second cup of coffee!
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Well, it is once again Monday. Unlike the past two Mondays, I was able to hang laundry outside. It was sunny and hot with a strong wind so everything dried in minutes. And the clothes have a great scent. We had a good weekend for the most part. On Thursday, we went to hear my daughter sing in the Freshman Choir at her school. They all performed wonderfully. Then Saturday, we broke down and started up the air because it got to 87 degrees here. And with the late afternoon sun pouring into the back of our house, it seemed so hot. You just can't seem to function when it gets that hot. Then Sunday was our wedding anniversary and we went out to dinner for the first time in quite a while. It was sans our kids. Married twenty-three years. Not too shabby. So I have nothing to complain about this Monday. But don't get too comfy. Another one of these comes around next week and who knows what havoc that can bring.

It's definitely Monday....crazy customers, etc.
Anyone have theories on this swine flu? My theory is that it is a conspiracy to make sure I fail my anatomy class, considering I need to do a lab on a pig heart and pig leg. Hmmmm.... haha. I know I'm insensitive.
It's the first day of a 6 day work week so we'll see how it goes...just makes me feel lke I have 2 Mondays. Not so keen on that!
