It really was an awesome adventure, the bus/subway/train system is nice if you need it, but if you pick a good location (we were near Placa Catalunya and Las Ramblas, I'll see if I can track the apartment down) you can walk to a lot of interesting things. One major thing to see: a handful of Gaudi's buildings, including the park and church (names elude me, currently) And eat the food! No American restaurants allowed! *grins* ~ edit: Apartment - there's a link for more pictures below the pictures on the page

the church is Sagrada Familia, by Antono Gaudi. It is one magnificent structure. It wasn't finished in Gaudi's lifetime, however he philosophy was that the great cathedrals of Europe were all started and not completed suring the original desiner's lifetime.
