My Sunday was nice! But very little of it was spent on the computer, so that's why the lack of posting... Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Awww... band camp, the official end of summer!! I never really minded it though, because then by the time that school really did start your body was already used to getting up early and having to actually do something instead of relaxing for the summer. That and you get to hang out with all your friends that you didn't see much over the past few months.

Did you do band camp at your school too nonick? When I did summer stock, there were tons of bands that went through camp...but it was on a college campus. Dang I hated those kids. Loud, obnoxious....LOUD...oh did I say LOUD? I would work in the theatre until like 1 am and those idiots would be beating the drums on the way to the mess hall at like 4:30 and all cherry...UGH.

Yep, ours was just at our high school. I had friends that I met in marching band in college that also went away to a college campus for their band camp, but I always thought that was a little weird. It was nice to be able to go home for lunch, or go out somewhere for lunch breaks. And actually, toward the end of high school, our band director switched camp to starting earlier in August, but only doing half days for the first week or two. We worked in sectionals and mainly on music only. Then when the full day practices started we worked on the actual marching.
