maa, that does sound delicious except I love green beens but can't imagine them on a sandwich, I love spicy sauces too. There is a place here that sounds the same except all they make are Vietnamese Subs, are they popular there? Very spicy, very good, tiny little hole in the wall, wait outside x15 minutes place. I get mine without the cilantro!

I don't mind it in salsa, pica de gaillo (or however you spell it) but this place puts on at least a cup, a nice thick layer!

"It's beginning to look a lot like spri-ing....
Eeeeeeverywhere you gooooooo..."
I love the fact that the sun is out almost every day. It's still only in the 30's but that's okay, as long as it's light outside. One and a half days 'til Castaway Bay!!! Woohoo!!!!!

Awwww... now I don't have anything really great to look forward to... I think I need to plan another mini-vacation!!
Other than a VERY sore lower back, all is well here. It's even more springlike than last week with warmer temperatures, higher humidity and rain in the forecast for the next 3-4 days. Even the grass is starting to turn greener!

We have some spring weather over here too! My hubby, the weatherman, says that we won't be getting snow for quite a while...Kinda nice, but I sure hope we don't get snow in April/May!

Happy Hump Day everyone!
It's in the low 50s here. I'm gonna be spending the day packing and lounging around, hopefully, although I'll probably get put to work by my mother. And then tomorrow, I'm off to New Orleans!

Soft, that should be fun. Did you ever get ahold of those friends you were trying to reach? What do you have planned for your trip?

No, not yet. I'm getting a little worried, I hope he's okay.
We're going to get there about noon tomorrow, and spend the rest of the day probably just exploring the French Quarter. Then Friday I have a program at Tulane, and I'm going to sit in on a class, then meet up with one of the teachers at my school here who is from there and is there now for coffee or something. Then Saturday we're going to try and see some of the devastated areas and the cleanup process, then more French Quarter exploring, hopefully. Sunday and Monday is another program at Tulane, and I'll stay overnight in the dorms and learn about the Honors Program and stuff. Then we leave Monday afternoon.
I'm so excited, I can't wait!
