Well I hope that everyone had a good weekend. Ours was full of paint at the old house, we are almost done with that, and they installed a new water heater. They are doing the driveway today! Dang I need to get that stupid thing sold or at least rented! Yesterday we saw Pirates of Penzance, the Pirate King reminded me of Ludwig, who has apparently left us!  |

Happy Monday to all. I am posting this on Friday night.
This morning (Monday the 12th), Kent is having knee replacement surgery. We are very excited and are hoping it goes so well he can get the other knee done in a month. He has been in pain for years so keep your fingers crossed and I will let you know how things go soon. I would have posted this over the weekend but we are stinkin' busy. Good stuff, but busy stuff.

Best wishes for both of you! I have known many clients whom have had replacements of all kinds and I am always amazed at the recoveries and healthy lives that they have gone on to lead. I hope everything goes well for him so that he will be dancing with you again soon!!

I have seen many people that go through knee replacements. And the most interesting thing is, the ones that have the positive attitude and do their physical therapy (even if it's sore) do soooo much better (and recover quicker) than the ones that get down and out.

surprising tell him we are thinking about him, and I am sure that he will not regret the surgery. I have known 4-5 people that have had replacements, and none have had any regrets. All have been back to doing things they had not been able to do for years before the surgery!!! Keep us posted, and in the mean time good healing thoughts are heading from so Cal to Utah!!!

Hope the surgery goes well Surprising! Tis Monday. I just worked a quick 4 hours, then realized mid-morning I forgot I had an appointment at Honday for my CRV. Of course I remembered an hour after the fact. I'm so embarrassed, I NEVER forget appointments. So, I brought up a box of tim bits from Tim Horton's and apologized profusely and rebooked for Saturday. This insomnia is affecting my memory I think. I totally remembered the appointment yesterday. Asked my brother to take the car in for me and lend me his for the morning. Gah, so mad at myself. I hope Monday gets better. I should go practice some piano. I wish I could take a magic pill and be an amazing pianist  So hey, hope everyone is having a lovely day and on to an even better week! |

Hope the surgery went well, and that his recovery is smooth and quick! Gah...Jess, I hate missing appointments - I always feel so awful! Sorry the insomnia is still going on. Haven't seen you guys for a few days - had a small nightmare at the end of last week with Bridget in the E.R. twice last Thurs....nothing life-threatening, and everyone's ok, but I am going to have a bit of a rant about it in the "angry" thread for your eddification and amusement---as soon as I morph back from my SuperTaxiMom persona (have to go pick Miss Bridget up from fall play tryouts, will be back soonish). I WANT SHIPS AND DIP STUFF TO GO ON SALE! BWAHHHHHHH! I feel better now. |
