"ablaze with candles"? Is 24 really THAT old? (My cousin informed me via AIM as soon as I signed on this morning that I'm old now, apparently the feeling is mutual!)

LOL! Honestly, I don't care much. I was born "old" and have always acted more mature than the number that represents my age. I'm just looking forward to next year when my car insurance will go down and I can rent a car! ;D I only started this thread because the only two people that remembered my birthday were my mom and my cousin. Even my dad didn't say anything to me this morning before work. P.S. Woohoo, 80 posts!!

Well you just beat me to the punch. I currently catch up on the board and then go check for celebrations on the calendar....but you were quick on the draw!!!
BTW 30s were the best years so far!!! They are followed closely by my 40s so far.

Ahh, I'm sorry that I was over anxious, but like I said, no one here at the office remembered and even my own father didn't. So I was a little on the depressed side and decided to celebrate myself!
So far I'm enjoying my 20's a lot. The only downside being that most of my friends are getting married, so pretty soon I'll be the only single one left and I won't have anyone to "party" with any more.

Sorry your dad forgot.......I am not certain if you asked my dad he could tell you mine either. But then again, he might not remember his own!!! LOL
Ahhh your friends are not allowed to have single friends and party with them after the "I Do?" I have never understood that at all. I know it is very familiar and routine..but it is still STUPID!!!!

Sorry!!!
*blows out flaming, waxy cake*
I agree with you about the single/married thing being stupid, but sadly that just seems to be how it works.
I'll take a white chocolate mocha with a shot of raspberry, but only if you have SOY!!

Ahhh for the birthday girl...soy it is!!!!! And a lady after my own heart...white chocolate mochas are the best!!!! You want the sweetened or unsweetened raspberry syrup? I also have some orange extract....makes a wonderful chocolate orange mocha!!!!

The sweeter the better! That's why I like the white chocolate so much! I've never had orange shots though, maybe I'll try that instead...
