it started of with the throat infection and then found out that I won't get my pay until Tuesday & I am thinking about the over-draft bank fees that I am going to get dealt with!!! Had some payments for bills coming out of my bank account on Monday - yikes!!!!

Hooray for Friday!!!!! Even though we got another 3 or so inches of snow overnight. It really is getting to be a bit tiresome. I'm ready for SPRING!

Wow, we lost about another 3 inches of snow here! It's almost all gone. The skiiers aren't so happy about it, but I sure am! Though I dread seeing my full naked front yard. Yikes.
Damn, my wine buzz is wearing off.

Well it was a beautiful weekend here. Bob worked on the slope some more, and we got some Kangaroo Paws, both yellow and deep red, planted, along with sedum and then sowed some California wildflower/butterfly mix to hopefully fill in. I can't wait until the slope does not have ugly desert daisies and lots of nakedness. My seeds are starting to bud up......here some chives, cilantro and several kinds of peppers. My fuschia is loving the courtyard, and I am looking forward to some awesome blossoms. At the other house it would be pretty for a short time, as it got way too much direct sun. I did not find the rose I want for the front......which is probably good since I have not submitted my landscaping plan to the home owners association. I am waiting for the knock on my door about the slope........but dang people it needs to be planted to stop further erosion, and they certainly did not do an adequate job of it. Oh well, I will just tell them that is what they planted there!! LOL I worked on Bob's office.........ohhh now there is some fun!!! I emptied like 8 boxes, but did not feel like I made much headway. Next weekend we will both get in there and get it all set up. Next stop...........finish the garage. I am bound and determined to park my damned car in there!!!!

Happy Friday to you all. Anyone have cooler plans than Devin with Horton and a unicycle? We are going to Norco house and paint two bedrooms. Sunday we have no plans, so we will probably do some stuff around the new house. The bank is beginning to look almost presentable, so perhaps it is time to work on planting in the front. And I should work with Bob in his office. It is a mess, and the only way I will get it all unpacked and organized if is I work with him, or do it myself!

WOOOO HOOOOO GOOD FRIDAY TO ALL!
What does everyone have in store for this weekend?
Tomorrow we are up early and heading to the Norco house to paint Eric's old room. Then down to Escondido to pick our Padres games! Tomorrow night we are seeing Lily Tomlin, I am so excited, I have never seen her live. Sunday we are doing Easter dinner with my sister in law and the nieces. There will only be 10 of us I think. I am taking Potato/Celery Root Au Gratin, corn casserole and probably artichoke dip! My sister in law is doing a spiral cut ham and a salad, and my mother in law is bringing rolls!

Man BNLater, you are living the life of riley, I'm so envious! You always have something interesting on the go. Would you adopt me?
Yes, it's Good Friday, and the first day of four days off in a row for me. Tuzzi's daughters are coming over for 2 nights this afternoon, I'm very excited, haven't seen them in a while. We are going to have a big Easter breakfast at my church on Sunday, then a cold dinner that day. My mom is going to cook a ham and a turkey Saturday, and then we'll just have cold salads and buns etc. Probably play some games and just lounge around.
Speaking of Tuzzi, she is officially done work after Sunday night. Just an update for you all who met her on the cruise last year, she quit her glass plant job after 10 years and is starting school at the end of the month to become a nurse! Isn't that great?!?!?!?! I'm happy she made the move. The shift work is hard with a young family. Both her and her hubby made the move from the plant in the last year.
I've been up for a while and on my second coffee. Not sure what to do with myself right now. The sun is shining, I'm off work, we cruise again in less than a year, life is good!

Jessica sure come on down! It is really nice to have adult children, and have huge amounts of freedom to do what we want. Our schedule will be busy busy busy this summer. We have 8 games to Storm baseball (they are a minor league team in the Padres' line). The stadium is like 10 minutes from the house, and it is tons of fun! We got 4 tickets so we will take the neighbors a couple of times, take nieces a couple at a time, and just have fun. We also have 10 Padre's games, which will be selected Saturday. We have season tickets to two different theatres...........although one seems to be going away, so only two more shows. We also have bought like tickets to 10 concerts.............maybe more, I lose track.
Jess have a great time with the girls. Please tell Tuzzi FAN FRICKIN TASTIC!!! I really want my son to go back and get his nursing degree. There is a huge shortfall of them down here at least! Maybe being in school she will be able to stop by here on occasion and keep us updated!!! The Easter weekend sounds great.......enjoy the time off work! I will let you know about Lily!

I will pass along your congrats to Tuzzi. I think she lurks here every so often.
Busy summer indeed! I have some time off, not sure what I'll do with it. I'm actually going to Europe this fall! For 4 weeks. A dream vacation of mine. So I probably won't do much.
I'm not into baseball, but I love hockey! You ever see an LA Kings game?
