We are going camping this weekend to central Alberta to our friends place. I am pretty sure I have mentioned them before, he drives a chuckwagon. The season has ended and this is the big wind up. Should be fun. One more camping trip on Thanksgiving and then we should be putting the trailer away............unless something comes up.

I'm camping this weekend too iled. We are having a church camp out for 2 nights. I'm hoping the weather holds out, it's raining right now. But I have a cabin rented, so it's all good I don't do the tent thing. I'm more of a 5 star hotel girl, so even a cabin is pretty risky for me Have fun!

<<knocks on wood It is beautiful here too, getting cool in the evenings so I can open up the house!! It was only 60 when I left home this morning! Now that is some cool down from 112 this weekend.
Have fun camping all. Jessica I am with you, the tent is not my thing!

I am all for a day in the wilderness, especially hiking with the dogs... as long as there is a hot shower and comfortable bed and/or couch awaiting me afterwards!

Happy Thursday all. I'm an idiot. I've been so tired the last couple of days for no reason whatsoever. Like, falling asleep over my patients in the afternoon tired. So I thought yesterday, great, I don't start until 9 tomorrow, I can sleep in a bit, and I went to bed sometime after midnight. So my alarm goes off at what I think is 7 am, and I feel like crap. Can barely haul my ass out of bed. Get my coffee going, brush my teeth, wash my face, head down to the computer with my coffee, my usual routine. Then I casually glance at the computer and see the time, just after 5 am. I think, this can't be. So I check my wall clock, my stove clock, my microwave clock and my watch. Yup, just after 5. I somehow must have changed the time on my alarm clock when I was setting it.
Sucks. Sorry for the long drawn out post, but I'm mad at myself. I have a full day of work then a dance class tonight. Tomorrow is going to be a killer.

LOL@BNLater! I've done that as well. One time I got confused, thought I woke up a short time before my alarm, so I got up and showered and got ready for work before realizing it was only 2:30 in the morning. This is why I don't nap as well, I feel so confused when I wake up and disorientated, I feel worse than being tired. Speaking of napping, I feel like onenow and it's only 8 am. Hopefully the fresh air on my 20 minute hike to work wakes me up a bit. Hopefully 6 pm comes quickly. Got a pot of spaghetti sauce on in my slow cooker to look forward to after dance tonight. Sorry, I babble when I'm tired

Jessica that sounds yummy indeed. We are having Hamburger Helper tonite. That will make three nights in a row that I have cooked. That is a record for the past 6 months or so. As it gets cooler I will put stuff in the crock pot before I got to work, that always makes a great dinner when I get home! But it is still too hot to think of stews etc. I have never tried spaghetti sauce in the crock, but I think I will have to try. I do a mean chicken cacciatori in the crock though. I think you could modify it and do a vegetable cacciatori....just omit the chicken part!

Oh, that sounds like a recipe I'd be interested in! I like the slow cooker on Thursdays because I don't get home from work until nearly 6:30 and don't feel like cooking at that point.
The vegetarian spaghetti sauce I make turns out wonderful. I just put it on low when I leave and it's perfect within 8 hours.

Jessica I thought there was something in the other forum...........but let me check. I am all about trying new stuff. I also have some wonderful recipes for risotto.......and you can always substitute veggie stock for chicken stock!! Now I made myself hungry!
Have a great hike to work Jessica, and a super dance class tonight!
