At the request of ladi (and I'm sure to the delight of our college age members) a thread for everyone to share recipes for any occasion.
If you can include a little blurb about the time it takes and how many it generally serves that would be great, too, but not required. Because I kind of want to sort them, try to include a category. The ones we were thinking of having are (in separate posts following this one): Casserole and One Dish Meals, Crock Pot Cooking, Non-Red Meat and Vegetarian Entrees, Veggies and Side Dishes, Desserts, and Misc.
Cook book suggestions are also welcomed and will be added to a list in this post.
Member Suggested Cook Books: - Passionate Vegetarian, by Crescent Dragonwagon from ladi - Complete Vegetarian Cookbook, by Charmaine Soloman from ladi

this is super easy. You need: 1 box of stove top 4 chicken breasts 1 - 10oz can cream of chicken soup Swiss cheese slices (or whatever cheese you like) 1) preheat overn to 350˚ 2) prepare stove top accordingto box directions 3) place chicken in casserole dish 4) spread stove top over the chicken 5) spoon cream of chicken soup over stove top 6) place swiss cheese slices over the food in the dish so its all covered 7) bake in oven at 350˚ for approximately 45 minutes. You can also use cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup instead of cream of chicken. I also do something similar, with - box of stovetop stuffing - sour dough - four chicken breast or four pork chops - package of shake and bake You take the dressing mix and spices and toss in 3/4 of the water called for on the stove top box. Pat in square baking dish. Coat meat with shake and bake as called for on the package and place on top of stuffing. Bake 350 until the meat is no longer pink inside...approximately one hour.

Process until smooth. Add the parsley and process for another 20 sec or so. Serve at room-temperature, garnished with a bit more parsley and a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil. Serve this with pita bread, veggie sticks, or crackers to your coworkers or friends. They'll love you, and you won't get fired. (in Barenaked Ladies, Public Stunts, Private Stories by Paul Myers)

Thanks for posting all of this. Unfortunately, Kraft Dinner is my ladie, and has been since I was born (even more so since I became a Barenaked Ladies fan). I have my friends in Canada ship the stuff to me here in Georgia 'cause Kraft Macaroni and Cheese just won't do. I'm sorry.

OK Old, what is the difference? I had always thought that our traditional Kraft Mac and Cheese was identical to Kraft Dinner?

Did you know in canada milk comes in bags?? Blech, it tastes funny to me! SO i'm sure Kraft dinner is slighty different to the trained tastebuds!! Old, where are you from?
