It's called "Monkey Bread" or "Monkey Pod Bread", but my cousin calls it "Monkey Poo"... no banana in it at all, not sure where the "monkey" part came from actually. It's good though, a lot like Apple Stuff but without the apples...

iled your kids would like to make monkey bread. You take Pillsbury biscuits..you know the ones in the can...two of the large cans. Set oven to 325 F. Mix cinnamon and sugar and put in a bowl. Melt one stick of butter. Now let the kids rip the biscuits into roughly quarters...then roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture then place in loaf pan until the pan is full except for 1/2 inch. Then drizzle the butter over the top, and place in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Put plate on the bottom of the pan and flip over. It is yummy. We do it in individual loaf pans so that each kid gets to make their own!!!!

Well, not THAT quick. Ours took about an hour to bake thoroughly, but then again we used a bunt pan.

are the Best Of Bridge cookbooks popular in the US? They have a thing called Land Of Nod Cinnamon Buns, same idea, except frozen dough balls. The night before you want them you put the frozen balls in a bundt pan, mix together instant vanilla pudding, brown sugar and cinnamon, pour it on then pour melted butter over top, cover with a tea towel and in the morning it will have risen an you bake it, quite impressive and delicious too.

The pudding mix dry right iled? That does sound good. I like to put pecans pieces in my monkey bread..but my son prefers it without! Using the individual loaf pans cuts down baking time....and for kids it is great..you get more gooey stuff!!

The cool thing about the bundt pan though was that it was GORGEOUS when we dumped it out. All it needed was a drizzling of some white icing over the top and it would have been magazine worthy!
