I guess mob isn't doing Thanksgiving Day for 22 people huh? I mean we did get tons accomplished...............curios are filled...........two with all Santas..........the buffet has Pretty As a Picture, Wolves, sharks, polar bears. We also go the courtyard all done, and the loggia is done and looks spectacular if I do say so. House has been cleaned, all serving tables are out and up, and all serving pieces are washed and out. Food is all bought...............I think we are ready. Christmas tree will be next weekend.

My co-worker has hers up as well. I usually wait until the 1st of December. I may not even bother this year, my tree so pathetic. It's not even 6 ft and it looks silly with my 12 foot vaulted ceilings. And I really need new decorations. And besides, it's just me here all alone to enjoy it. Who knows. I do love Christmas though.

That is all the more reason to do a tree Jessica!! But why not get a big fresh one?

I thought about it, but you know, I forget to water my house plants, and you can't do that with a tree, or the needles go everywhere. And my nephews would probably try to eat it. I say every year that I should get a real tree though.

you can get automatic waterers for them Jessica. And I have never seen a kid try to eat a tree.

I love real trees- but they are messy and more of a fire hazzard.... Ever burn a pine tree? Those things go up quickly!
Alas my tree is fake. And I only put it up this weekend because it's the only time I could fit it in my schedule! I would have loved to wait...but you have to do what you have to do!!
But I don't think it's too early to bust out my BNL for the holidays CD!

I heard Christmas music in Superstore yesterday. I'm so ready to hear it on the radio now. I love Christmas music! It's definately not to early for BNFTH!

We already have one station here that has flipped to all Christmas all the time. I think it flipped last week sometime. I already got out the Arthur Fiedler Christmas CD too... complete with Christmas Festival and Sleigh Ride. Let the festvities begin!

Andrea, Arthur Fiedler is awesome! It's time to put the Xmas playists on my iPod for commuter listening!
We do a real tree every year. Steve's Mom is always trying to give us a fake one and I insist on the real, no matter how Charlie Brown-ish it looks! We'll hopefully go out to the farm and tag one this Friday.
And besides, it's snowing right now, and pretty heavily!

I agree with Jessica, it is never too early for BNFTH, well okay July might be but I think now is great! Troy and I both have the week off so we are putting our Christmas stuff up this week too. We go a new tree this year..........okay it is fake but I agree with mob, I would kill it before Christmas. In fact my paperwhites are dead I think, at least one of them is!
