I have a couple of things in the bathroom (Texas based Christmas decorations) and we do the living room but that is about it. I love the decorations but taking them down bites so bad that I quit putting so much out. We spend so much time in the living room that it is really all we need to do anyway.
Sounds like we needs lots o' pictures of decorations in the picture thread.

I like to live vicariously through all of you since we probably won't be having any Christmas decorations this year. Sad, our house used to be very festive...

Well we don't usually have a tree anyway, but mostly it is due to lack of time and lack of Christmas spirit.

Well what is more festive than a Reindeer Jack Ball? You should get the magnetic Christmas lights for the car too, then in the evening you can all gather around your red and green car and sing carols!

Bwahahaha. Drive around for a while and there will even be radiant heat. *snort*
I didn't put up a tree the year the kids were in Utah and it was my worst ever. That's what inspired me to move though so I guess the misery was worth it.
I vote for one of those little table top trees with some cheezer ornaments. Go to a craft store or a nursery. If you got a real one at the nursery it would make the house smell good and you could plant it/give it to a friend with a yard after.
Just a thought.

We bought a plastic tree last weekend... and my roommates, ever the handy men, made decorations out of... beer bottle caps. Yes. Beer bottle caps. Like, balls of different colours and the star on top of the tree too. *sigh*
...hey! I'm not the one that drank that much beer ok?? Blame it on them! Sheesh.

If no tree, at least some lights...on anything. Back in the day, I hung lights anywhere and everywhere I could in my travels. IV poles not only make stellar coat racks, but they also been known to hold a strand or two of lights!!

I am with you there mob, there are all kinds of easy and fast ways to make the house festive. I just can't be without some visible Christmas spirit this time of year. Right now I get to look at the tree in the courtyard, and the smell of baking Christmas cookies every night keeps the holiday spirit alive and well.
